Fantastic to meet so many Codility customers and future ones during this week's LSEG Tech Leaders' Summit in London. More software will be built in the next few years than in the last several decades combined. The future of engineering is democratic, fast-paced, and full of raised ambition for what's possible. Skills needed tomorrow are fluid given the pace of change. The most advanced engineering teams are already spending most of their time on specification, delegation to LLMs and AI agents, and verification of output. AI will power every part of the development cycle. Hungry, curious people will prevail. CIOs have AI skills top of mind across the organization. Their role is increasingly focused on business outcomes and supporting enterprise-wide transformation. CTOs view engineering as a team sport. They care deeply about problem-solving skills, domain knowledge, and curiosity. With AI, the best engineers are getting exponentially better. Interestingly, the new generation of engineers is IDE-agnostic, switching between tools and models fluidly. On a personal note, I had the privilege of meeting Dame Julia Hoggett, CEO of London Stock Exchange. Mid-conversation, we realized her work supporting the transformation of a state-owned Polish telco to a public company in the 1990s had personally impacted my family. Former employees received stock when the company went public. This meant my grandmother, who'd worked there her whole life, received money that made a real difference. A reminder that purpose-driven work ripples across decades and borders. Grateful for all the conversations and connections made this week.

  • No organization wants engineers to hate the interview process. When AgileEngine turned to Codility to automate and scale their technical assessment process, it was important to do so with candidate experience in mind. Not only has AgileEngine saved time and reduced costs, but their new, smooth candidate experience has achieved exceptional satisfaction ratings (NPS: 9.0). 👉 Link to the full story in comments. #TalentAcquisition #CandidateExperience #TechRecruitment #CodilityScreen

✅ What does a modular HR ecosystem actually look like? Last post, we shared why putting everything into one platform limits agility. Let’s look at what it really means in practice. 🧩 Think LEGO. Each piece has its own shape and purpose. The real magic happens when you connect them. In HR tech, it’s the same: - The ATS manages applications (Teamtailor) - VMS + MSP oversee contingent workers (Beeline) - FMS engages freelancers (TalentDesk.io) - Direct Sourcing builds your talent community (VONQ) - Interview tools automate coordination and scheduling (Cronofy) - Assessment platforms measure skills and behavioral fit (Codility) - EOR ensure compliance and scalability (Remote) - Analytics bring visibility across it all (Crunchr) Individually, these tools solve specific problems. Connected, they form a living, modular ecosystem that evolves as the organization grows. 💡 The future isn’t one platform. It’s a network that learns, adapts, and grows with your people. • Your coding assessments treat a 75% like a 75%. Should they? Traditional scoring methods can give identical scores to engineers with completely different skill profiles. That means you might be making critical decisions based on incomplete data. Codility's Skills Intelligence Scoring brings you scores you can trust: - Applies psychometric testing principles - Validated across 1,700+ real-world engineering evaluations - 90%+ accuracy in predicting manager ratings of code quality Because skills data without trust is just noise. 👉 Read the research: https://bit.ly/4lRohoP 👉 Dive in with a demo: https://bit.ly/3JLeWS6 #EngineeringSkills #AssessmentScience #CodilitySkillsIntelligence
