🌟 Empowering dreams through culinary training 🌟 Meet Schkea, a passionate individual whose love for cooking has been a driving force in her life. Despite facing challenges, her determination to pursue her dreams never wavered. Hot Bread Kitchen, a New York City-based non-profit organisation, has been instrumental in providing Schkea with the culinary training she needed to turn her passion into a meaningful career. Through the funding contribution of the Compass Group Foundation and partnership with our Restaurant Associates business in the US, Hot Bread Kitchen has supported over 250 members, including Schkea, in gaining valuable culinary skills and securing high-quality jobs across New York City. From learning knife skills and baking techniques to experiencing the joy of creating and showcasing dishes, Schkea's experience at Hot Bread Kitchen has been transformative. Today, she works in a bakery in Brooklyn, NY, and continues to grow and learn in the culinary world.
