Cost-effective, scalable and sustainable composite manufacturing.
About us
We have the capabilities to manufacture advanced composite materials cost-effectively and at scale. Yep, you read that right: forget everything you thought you knew about advanced composite manufacturing. Our award-winning technology, which has been recognised as world-leading, enables us to automate the manufacturing process. This means we can reduce labour costs by up to 90% and waste by 97%. Our materials are: 1. Lightweight and strong — As strong as steel and 70% lighter. We braid a thermoplastic matrix with materials like carbon fibre, glass fibre, and basalt. 2. Sustainable — Our thermoplastic materials are inherently recyclable, our processes are energy efficient and cut waste by up to 97%, plus our products are lightweight which leads to de-carbonisation throughout the product lifecycle. 3. Cost-effective and scalable — We can produce 100,000 parts each year at a cost similar to traditional manufacturing. We offer a range of services, tailored to each client's requirements, including: - End product manufacturing - Pre-form braiding - A fully-bespoke service - License and collaboration. We're based in Derby, the UK Capital for Innovation. Visit our website to find out more.

We’re delighted to welcome our first apprentice, Darren tino makombe into the business. He is enrolled on Derby College’s fantastic Engineering Fitter apprenticeship programme, which perfectly compliments the work he will be doing here, braiding, moulding and assembling sustainable thermoplastic composite products. It’s great to have him onboard as the first member of our apprenticeship programme. Rail Forum Composites UK #apprenticeship #composites #UKmanufacturing
