A big welcome to our new Cranswick graduates for 2025! After impressing throughout the application process, these bright, young professionals will now complete a six-week induction across the business before joining different Cranswick sites in their respective areas. We can't wait to bring their fresh perspectives and unique insights on board!

The Hog & Beyond Team have done it again... with five 1st place wins at this year's British Freestyle BBQ Championships! Held in Maldon, Essex, the competition brought together 15 of the UK’s most exciting and unstoppable BBQ teams, with Hog & Beyond's Simon, Matt, Ben and Daryl searing, glazing, and grilling their way to glory! Having been last year's Grand Champion, the pressure was sky-high this time around, but after weekends of testing, tweaking and perfecting every element, they were able to wow the judges once more. Here are their fantastic winning dishes!: Char Siu-glazed hot dog with salt & pepper seaweed, pineapple sweet & sour sauce, and a personalised BBQ fortune cookie! A pecan-smoked carrot cake with orange butterscotch and candied walnut streusel. SCA Ribeye Steak seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, thyme, and rosemary, and brushed with rich bone marrow jus. A Whole Hen Ramen feast of pulled chicken noodles, soy miso & crispy chilli chicken leg, sesame chicken nugget, and a smoked chicken & miso bone broth. Topped with a delicate smoked quail’s egg! Oak-smoked wild mushroom and stuffed lamb wrapped in streaky bacon, served with parsnip purée, pickled mushrooms, parsnip crisps, and a rich red wine & bone marrow jus.

It was a pleasure to host our fifth annual GEM awards last night. The night saw a celebration of our colleagues who go the extra mile to ensure our business is not just successful, but truly exceptional. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees!

We are thrilled to announce that our recent Charity Golf Day raised an incredible £110,000 for the children’s charity, KIDS! Held at the Forest Pines golf course in Scunthorpe, the event brought together teams of Cranswick’s colleagues, suppliers and customers, many of whom have been supporting this event for several years. We were also delighted to welcome representatives from KIDS who shared the incredible work they do around the UK providing practical, life-changing and creative support for disabled children, young people and their families. Cranswick has been a proud supporter of KIDS since 2007, and thanks to the immense generosity shown by everyone involved, a phenomenal total for £532,000 has been raised for KIDS over the years, making a profound difference to the lives of countless children and their families. Congratulations to everyone who took part and supported this year’s event.
