Our Founder & MD – Hakan Agca – was recently invited to present our design and technology work at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group’s offices in London, sharing insights on our masterplanning projects and showcasing Cross Works’ efforts and vision on the New Tashkent Masterplan. As one of the largest new city projects in the world New Tashkent represents a bold opportunity to rethink how cities should respond to growing populations and broader national economic ambitions; and balancing such urban expansion plans with liveability, sustainability, and national identity. It was a privilege to open up this conversation to the floor at BIG’s offices, exchanging ideas with our peers, who are equally committed to reimagining the future of our cities and spearheading new technologies and approaches. This week, the President of Uzbekistan - Shavkat Mirziyoyev - reviewed our 140 sqm physical model and visited some of the numerous projects currently under construction on site, within our New Tashkent Masterplan.    An exciting time for the country and for Cross Works, seeing our design work turn into real buildings, infrastructure and green space for hundreds of thousands of people.   A bright future ahead for the largest city in Central Asia.
