Cure Leukaemia funds UK research nurses, enabling clinical trial access and driving global blood cancer advancements.
About us
With a new blood cancer diagnosis every 27 seconds worldwide, Cure Leukaemia funds research nurses and clinical roles at blood cancer centres across the UK, providing patients with access to innovative and potentially life-saving treatments through clinical trials. Without the expert research nurses to ensure patients are constantly monitored and cared for; these trials would not run, and patients would miss the opportunity to access potentially life-saving therapies. By supporting these roles, Cure Leukaemia facilitates potentially life-saving advancements in blood cancer therapies nationally but also contributes to global progress and hope for those impacted by the disease worldwide.

"There are new drugs that are available and we'd like to do a national study of that within the UK. If we have the ATICUS Network up and running today, we'd be able to deliver that study." Last night at our Up Close and Personal event in London, Professor Persis Amrolia of Great Ormond Street Hospital explained the importance of the ATICUS Network and how it will change the way children with blood cancer are treated. Thank you to our friends at The Montague on the Gardens - part of The Red Carnation Hotel Collection and Jonathan Raggett for hosting the event, and to all those who attended and spoke powerfully about your support for Cure Leukaemia and our collective mission! If you'd like to know more about how you and your business can play your part in this world first, globally impacting network, we'd love to hear from you! https://lnkd.in/eTeGMdPg Accelerating Clinical Trials Ltd James McLaughlin Sarah Hope Bhupinder Dhillon Alex Smith Jennie Hill Joe Hagen

Katharine has signed up for The Route 2026, combining her passion for cycling with her dedication to helping children ❤️ “As a Consultant Paediatric Haematologist at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust, I treat children with leukaemia and those undergoing stem cell transplants. The ATICUS Network is a pioneering project to bring research studies straight to children undergoing stem cell transplants and ensure that every child having a transplant in the UK has access to the latest advances in medical care. I know this will make transplants safer and more effective and will save the lives of children who have no other chance of long-term survival.” Donate to Katharine's challenge: https://lnkd.in/enY_VzD2
