A brand new art installation is hanging in our hallway! The Icons of Margate & Cliftonville community project was created by Carson Parkin-Fairley. 45 artworks in total were made in a series of community workshops, created and led by Carson, with each participant creating an icon of themselves. An ode to everything they love. The installation will be open between 20th July - 6th September. ☀️ MARGATE! ☀️ What a stunning few days last week in the sunshine celebrating the cream of creativity in the UK. Highlights for me personally were the chance to swim in the sea with my hero Steve Davies, catching Nils Leonard's talk at the Turner Contemporary, and soaking up the various brilliant scenes at Dreamland Margate. The rest of it was a blur of good times, great food & beautiful connections that make these festivals worth going to. Special thanks to Dina Green & Jeremy Green at the UK Creative Festival, without whom none of it would have the magic it does.
