Last month, we kicked off our new 12-month Leadership Development Programme, an exciting step forward for everyone at Edgbaston Park Hotel. ✨ As part of the first session, we also introduced our new Vision and Values. This time, we wanted them to feel real - not just words on a wall, but something our whole team believes in. 💬 Our Chief Executive, Richard Metcalfe shared: ‘When we spoke to the team about our Vision and Values, it became clear that they were fine, but not great. In trying to tick the ‘management’ boxes, we’d missed the fundamental truth: none of it matters if it doesn’t mean something to the team.‘ So, we went back to the drawing board, stayed true to our purpose, and gave the team the autonomy to choose the words that define our direction and foundations. I couldn’t be prouder of what we now have - and what it means for our team to be genuinely connected to our Vision and Values.' Seeing our team come together to shape this has been a real reminder of what makes Edgbaston Park Hotel special.
