About us

Here at Farrow & Ball, we're dedicated to creating a range of richly pigmented paints and handcrafted wallpapers, using only the highest-quality ingredients. Still rooted in Dorset, England, our palette is available in a full range of high-performance interior and exterior finishes. Deepening from subtle neutrals to dark inky hues, our paint is blended with up to five pigments for an extraordinary depth of colour. It’s also here that we craft each roll of our wallpaper with Farrow & Ball paint and responsibly sourced paper. Our traditional printing methods give an exquisitely tactile, almost three-dimensional finish as you seamlessly combine paint and paper in the same space. It began in 1946 with local pioneers John Farrow and Richard Ball. Our founders were groundbreaking in their pursuit of only the finest quality ingredients. From then on, our laboratory forged cutting-edge methods for testing the exceptional colour and performance of our paint finishes. Today the unique Farrow & Ball look transforms modern and traditional homes, large and small, inside and out, around the world. Even with more than 60 showrooms worldwide and a global network of stockists, we’ve never forgotten our local Dorset roots.

  • We are thrilled to have sponsored this year's Interior Designer of the Year award at House & Garden’s Design Awards, which has been presented to Rachel Chudley Interior Design. Specialising in bold and unexpected, yet highly liveable, spaces, Rachel is known for creative interiors with a distinct use of colour and texture. At odds with formalised style, her work instead reflects its environment and inhabitants, their quirks, passions, and humour. Photography by Sophia Spring, courtesy of House & Garden UK.

  • This week on the podcast, we’re bringing you a double helping of Patricks. Our host Partick O’Donnell sits down with Patrick Grant: the pioneer at the forefront of sustainable fashion and judge on the BBC's Great British Sewing Bee.   In his newly painted home, the pair discuss their mutual love for Broccoli Brown, childhood memories of muddy adventures and his obsession with nature. They also touch on how fashion has influenced his colour choices, from the Print Room Yellow of ‘80s acid house raves to the blue hues of Savile Row suits. Find the episode wherever you get your podcasts or head to https://lnkd.in/ecYQ8C5c to see the colours discussed.
