AMCC är ett projekt som samlar civil och militär kompetens för att utveckla avancerad tillverkning med både civila och försvarskritiska tillämpningar. Projektet omfattar nya maskiner, avancerade testmiljöer och samordnad utveckling för att stärka Sveriges försvarsförmåga och resiliens. During the Royal Visit of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima to Airbus, GKN Aerospace's business in the Netherlands, GKN Fokker, signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus Helicopters, marking a step forward in European defence collaboration. This agreement builds on a previous MoU signed in 2023 and follows the Dutch Ministry of Defence’s purchase of 12 H225M Caracal helicopters. It strengthens our long-standing relationship with Airbus and Dutch industry, focusing on advanced composite technologies and electrical wiring systems (EWIS). 🗨️ John Pritchard, President Civil Airframe at GKN Aerospace said: "This MoU reflects the trust and shared vision between Airbus Helicopters and GKN Aerospace.
