We've partnered with Audio Always to offer listeners early access to the hit comedy podcast 'Help I Sexted My Boss'. 'Sexted', which is hosted by Capital Breakfast presenter Jordan North and etiquette expert William Hanson, will be available exclusively on Global Player 24 hours before other platforms.   The award-winning podcast has amassed more than 100 million listens since launch and has just announced an arena tour for March 2026. The partnership will align 'Sexted' with Jordan's Capital Breakfast show, and includes cross promotion across the podcast, on-air, and digital outdoor across the UK.   Stuart Morgan, Founder and Managing Director at Audio Always said: "We are really excited to be uniting Sexted with Global's network, and offering listeners the chance to hear the podcast first. We love that this partnership brings together radio, podcasts, Global Player and wider cross-media channels to promote brilliant audio on a brilliant platform."   Vicky Etchells, Director, Podcasts at Global, said: “This collaboration is a brilliant example of how we can bring together Global’s platforms to drive growth for podcasts. Partnering with Audio Always on such a hugely popular show not only strengthens Global Player’s offering but creates exciting opportunities for advertisers to connect with audiences in multiple ways.” #Global | #AudioAlways | #Partnership | #Podcast | #DigitalAudio | #Audio

With a refreshed new look and the same life-changing mission, Global's Make Some Noise Day 2025 has been a roaring success! On our twelfth appeal day, we’ve raised a record-breaking £4,814,808 to support life-changing projects across the UK. We've loved seeing your loud outfits - an annual tradition - with everyone going all-out to raise awareness for our amazing charity. From catwalks to karaoke, polaroids to pancakes, we’ve loved all the creative ways Globallers have fundraised in our broadcast centres and warehouses, too. Across the week, a number of presenters have taken on challenges of their own. For Heart’s Herculean Challenge, Amanda Holden, Jamie Theakston, Ashley Roberts, and Pandora Christie faced extremes - abseiling down 170 metres, lying with snakes, being suspended 20 storeys high in a crane, and treading the West End boards in Disney’s Hercules. Up in Scotland, ‘Grado’s Granite to Glasgow’ Challenge saw the Breakfast presenter handcycle over 400 kilometres -from Aberdeen to Glasgow. Like Grado, Capital Weekender host Kem Cetinay also took on an exhausting physical endurance challenge, playing padel for 24 hours! Every day, Global's Make Some Noise funds and champions projects delivered by small charities across the UK that are lifelines in their communities - whether they’re supporting families facing a life-limiting illness, someone struggling with their mental health, escaping domestic abuse, or trying to make ends meet. The record total raised today is vital. We really appreciate everyone who has contributed in some way. We also want to thank our headline sponsor Furniture Village, plus Disney’s Hercules, PureGym and Digby Brown Solicitors who have also supported this year’s appeal, sponsoring presenter challenges. Finding bits of glitter in our bags until the next appeal day in 2026 will be totally worth it! 😅💓 #Global | #MakeSomeNoise | #Charity | #Fundraising | #Fundraiser

A staple of the West End, Les Misérables is 40 today! Affectionately known as 'Les Miz' - as reflected in this creative - Cameron Mackintosh Ltd celebrates the musical sensation's forty years of treading the boards in London. In addition to sites on the London Underground, the birthday outdoor campaign extends above ground, decorating buses on the 94 route which neighbours the Sondheim Theatre. 🎭🇫🇷🎂 #Global | Transport for London | #OOH | #Theatre | #Musicals

We may have welcomed her to Wembley Stadium and The O2 for multiple Summertime and Jingle Bell Balls, but this week we had the special opportunity to welcome Taylor Swift back to Leicester Square. With Capital billboards across the UK and Heart's Jamie Theakston taking to the streets in a Taylor taxi, nobody could have missed our shows! Joining Capital Breakfast’s Jordan North and Sian Welby, plus Heart Breakfast’s Jamie Theakston with Emma Bunton, Taylor gave in-person interviews to promote her highly anticipated new album, 'The Life of a Showgirl' and first single, 'The Fate of Ophelia' - both released at 5am today. From deep dives into Taylor and Travis' favourite track off the new album to having her own fangirl moment with Spice Girl Emma Bunton, you can watch both interviews with Capital and Heart Breakfast on Global Player. #Global | #TaylorSwift | #Radio | #Music | #Interview

From dance music to diving, our Partnerships team have been causing a splash 💦 🏊 Capital joined forces with Holland & Barrett to power up their ‘Live Life on Full Charge’ campaign. What better way to bring it to life than with an aqua energy challenge! Capital's Sonny Jay and Nada Allali went head-to-head, but only one could stay afloat. The forfeit? Braving the ten-metre diving board! ❣️ Would you let your spouse choose your outfit? That's what Caroline and Adam Thomas were tasked to do in a special Heart x Matalan challenge. Meanwhile, Heart's Vicky Pattison took a break from Strictly rehearsals to give our audience a peek behind the scenes, serving up double denim and then some. 🏝️ For Capital Dance Live in Ibiza with eBay, we headed to the White Isle for a mega two-day lineup at the iconic Cafe Mambo. DJs took to the decks to start things in style and thanks to eBay, our presenters were rave-ready in preloved outfits from eBay - think bold colours and sparkles galore.   ❎ Radio X's Johnny Vaughan has been in demand, firstly teaming up with Sky Sports (Sky) and NOW to bring fans a lively chat about the beautiful game with The Maccabees' Felix White. Next for Johnny and the 4til7 Thang was a live OB from The Anchor at London's Bankside to celebrate Greene King’s summer of 'Live at your Local'. As well as the OB, listeners and punters enjoyed a live performance from Sam Ryder! 🛸 To promote FX’s ‘Alien: Earth” landing on Disney Plus (The Walt Disney Company), we sent Capital’s Jimmy Hill to an alien wreckage site to be jump-scared by a terrifyingly real alien, driving Capital listeners to tune in to the new show. #Global | #Partnerships | #Creativity | #Radio | #Experiential | #SocialMedia | #ThrowbackThursday
