The award highlights UNF’s forward-thinking approach, removing barriers for students and preparing them for the evolving job market through a dynamic, student-centred learning environment that combines flexible delivery models, hands-on experiences, work-integrated learning opportunities, and strong industry connections. Global University Systems was proud to be the official education partner for THE NAT Gala, held on 21st September during Climate Week in New York. Representatives from GUS North America and London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) joined this high-level initiative alongside global changemakers including Jane Goodall, Harrison Ford, Jane Fonda, Sylvia Earle, Stella McCartney, and more. What made this partnership truly special was seeing our students at the heart of the action. Pearl Academy students designed the t-shirts worn by staff at this high-profile gala, showcasing their creative talents on an international stage. Meanwhile, two LCCA students were selected to participate in exclusive workshops on sustainable fashion, gaining invaluable insights into the future of responsible design. This collaboration embodies GUS's commitment to sustainability education and providing our students with real-world opportunities to make a meaningful impact. Global University Systems (GUS) and InUni Global were honored to welcome senior leadership from Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC)—part of the esteemed The City University of New York (CUNY) system—at The University of Law’s Moorgate campus in London.   We had the pleasure of hosting: 🔹 Dr. Anthony E. Munroe, EdD, MBA, MPH – President, BMCC 🔹 Dr. Sanjay Ramdath – Vice President of Enrollment Management, BMCC 🔹 Dr. Daniel Katz, Ph.D. – Director, Office of Diplomatic Engagement and Training, BMCC   This high-level dialogue centered on strengthening global collaboration, enhancing student mobility, and developing impactful TNE pathways.   CUNY, one of the largest public university systems in the U.S. with 25 campuses and over 243,000 degree-seeking students, shares a vision for global engagement that closely aligns with Global University Systems (GUS) and InUni Global's dynamic, innovation-led approach to supporting institutional internationalization and the development of transnational education. Big news from Global University Systems and Arden University! We’re excited to announce a new strategic partnership with Brightstar Capital Partners to support Arden’s next phase of innovation and global growth.

Big congratulations to Arden University for climbing to 5th place in the latest National Student Survey (NSS) rankings - up from 16th last year.     With an impressive 87% positivity score, this result reflects Arden’s unwavering commitment to student success, wellbeing, and high-quality education. The NSS is one of the most trusted measures of student satisfaction across UK higher education, making this recognition particularly meaningful.    A huge well done to the entire Arden team for this fantastic achievement! 

Recently, over 80 academics from across the GUS network gathered in Berlin for the GUS Academic Summit 2025, hosted by University of Europe for Applied Sciences, Gisma University of Applied Sciences, and Berlin School of Business & Innovation (BSBI). Themed “Empowering Future Generations with Artificially Intelligent-Driven Education for Sustainable Development,” the two-day event featured keynotes, workshops, and 40+ presentations exploring ethical AI, immersive virtual learning, and using AI to boost student engagement and success. A standout moment was the recognition of our newly appointed GUS Fellows, celebrating academic excellence and leadership across the network. As AI continues to transform higher education, the summit underscored the importance of shaping its future proactively and responsibly. 

Recently, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) marked its 25th anniversary with a vibrant day of celebration alongside alumni, students, staff, and long-time partners. Under the inspiring motto "25 Years of Education that Moves," the university hosted a series of events, including an official ceremony attended by the Mayor of Iserlohn and the District Administrator of Märkischer Kreis, who reflected on the institution’s journey - from its humble beginnings in 2000 with just 23 students. Fast forward to today, UE teaches around 7,500+ students from over 140+ nations, on over 63+ study programmes - spread across 5 campuses - Iserlohn, Berlin, Hamburg, Potsdam, and Dubai.     We’re proud to see UE continue to grow as a global, innovative, and forward-thinking institution - shaping the future of education across borders.    

Wrapping up the week with a glimpse into the lighter side of the GUS Partners Conference! While the conference sparked meaningful conversations around the future of higher education, it also provided space for connection, collaboration, and a bit of friendly competition.    From thought-provoking discussions to a lively round of pétanque, the spirit of partnership and global community was truly at the heart of it all.    Here’s to learning, laughing, and leading - together.
