Global University Systems was proud to be the official education partner for THE NAT Gala, held on 21st September during Climate Week in New York. Representatives from GUS North America and London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) joined this high-level initiative alongside global changemakers including Jane Goodall, Harrison Ford, Jane Fonda, Sylvia Earle, Stella McCartney, and more. What made this partnership truly special was seeing our students at the heart of the action. Pearl Academy students designed the t-shirts worn by staff at this high-profile gala, showcasing their creative talents on an international stage. Meanwhile, two LCCA students were selected to participate in exclusive workshops on sustainable fashion, gaining invaluable insights into the future of responsible design. This collaboration embodies GUS's commitment to sustainability education and providing our students with real-world opportunities to make a meaningful impact. Watch as Cyndi McLeod, CEO of GUS North America, shares more about our sustainability initiatives and how we’re driving this important conversation among our students.
