The owners of Salwey Lodge, Arabella and Hugo have taken an uncompromising approach to sustainability, using renewable energy sources and providing delicious local produce for their guests. An easy walk to the southwest of the historic market town of Ludlow will take you to Salwey Lodge, where they have created a very special rural retreat where up to eight people can abandon their cars to enjoy curated walking holidays in the unspoilt Shropshire countryside. The grounds surrounding the lodge are managed under a Higher Land Stewardship Scheme that protects and nurtures the natural ecosystems around the Lodge. Arabella and Hugo have set a clear pathway to net zero and were delighted to find that their efforts secured them a Gold Green Tourism Award. Find out more about their approach to sustainability by reading their Green Story: https://lnkd.in/efRmTSxh See how far you are on your journey by taking our GreenCheck Quiz: https://lnkd.in/es5HaWX9 #SustainabilityCertification #ResponsibleBusiness #SustainableBusiness

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since we were awarded AA Hotel and Hospitality Services Small Hotel Group of the Year. What a year it has been! ✨✨ This recognition was a huge milestone for our hotels and wonderful team that helps drive our success. Over the past 12 months we’ve continued to build on that momentum – welcoming new guests, creating memorable experiences, and striving to raise the bar even higher. Some particular highlights have been both Bovey Castle and Mallory Court Country House Hotel & Spa achieving Gold Green Tourism, and The Greenway Hotel and Spa, The Arden and Brockencote Hall achieving Silver. Here’s to the journey so far, and to everything still ahead! We’d also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone attending the awards this evening a fantastic night - and the very best of luck to all the nominees for 2025/26!

Great to see the team from British Motor Museum getting out and about and doing their bit to stop the stuff that people have thrown away polluting our green spaces and waterways. And keeping their place beautiful for everyone to enjoy. #WorldCleanUpday #keepbritaintidy #sustainabletourism #responsibletourism #GreenTourism
