The owners of Salwey Lodge, Arabella and Hugo have taken an uncompromising approach to sustainability, using renewable energy sources and providing delicious local produce for their guests. An easy walk to the southwest of the historic market town of Ludlow will take you to Salwey Lodge, where they have created a very special rural retreat where up to eight people can abandon their cars to enjoy curated walking holidays in the unspoilt Shropshire countryside.  The grounds surrounding the lodge are managed under a Higher Land Stewardship Scheme that protects and nurtures the natural ecosystems around the Lodge. 🌱 Attention West Oxfordshire visitor economy businesses! 🌱 The Sustainable Tourism Grant Scheme is opening today – helping you cut your environmental impact while strengthening your business.
