Galston Gladiators Step Onto the World Stage! Three fierce local kickboxers from the Galston Gladiators Kickboxing Club are gearing up to represent Scotland on the global stage at the WKU World Championships in Trier, Germany, taking place from 26th to 31st October. Backing their journey, H&V Commissioning Services is proud to sponsor these martial arts stars, helping them chase their dreams and fight for glory. In a show of support, Company Director Ian Stewart welcomed the talented trio to the H&V offices, where he wished them the very best as they prepare to take on the world at the WKU 2025 World Championships. Scotland’s got warriors – and they wear Gladiator colours. Let’s cheer them on!

Keiren Paton represented H&V Commissioning Services on Thursday 2nd October at the Commissioning Specialist Association Awards Ceremony, held on Park Plaza, London. Keiren was a finalist for the Student Of The Year award, after a speedy progression through the grades 1-4 of this DLC. With H&V Commissioning Services being proposed for the Investment In Training Award. Unfortunately, none of the two awards made their way back to Scotland with Keiren this year. A fantastic evening at #ABA25 last night in the Ayr Racecourse. The company didn't pick up the Digital Innovation first place in a category with a strong and deserving group of finalist. However, being selected as one of the four finalists is still an achievement we are extremely proud of. Over the past year we have worked hard to rejuvenate the offices and progress towards a more digital approach both in the office and on site. Making it to the finals is validation we are moving in the correct direction. Well done to all the H&V Commissioning Services staff that have contributed to getting this far. 👏 👏 A pleasure to share the table with Titan Training, who were finalists in the Start Up Business of the Year award. Thanks to 5GIR Ayrshire Digital Economy Ecosystem, Creo Design, Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce, Invest East Ayrshire, Paul Taylor, Sarah Smillie and everyone else that has help with our journey to this point. We are looking forwards to see where the next steps on this road take us.

This week, H&V Commissioning Services continued work on the £500,000 internal upgrade project. Our newly completed training room was put to good use, hosting an electrical training course. Six of our most senior site staff are now certified in electrical work on control panels, safety cabinets, AHUs, fans, HRUs, motorised fire dampers, and other ventilation-related equipment. A big thank you to Ray for delivering the training and sharing his expertise. We're proud to report that all attendees successfully passed the qualification, with more training sessions planned!
