A completed barracks project! As part of the UK wide Army EATS initiative, aimed at modernising and improving Army food services, this Junior Ranks’ Mess now offers lunch and dinner through a buffet-style servery. The original servery and front of house design was prepared by MRG, with HCE later assisting in adapting the layout to accommodate increased personnel and future-proof the site. The 8 month programme was delivered by main contractor VINCI Facilities. Key design elements included: - Upgraded servery ventilation - A new canopy to cover the live cooking area

Sustainability is high on the hospitality agenda, but that doesn’t always correspond to the right outcome when it comes to kitchen projects... ...as we discovered during the first ever Catering Insight roundtable outside of the UK. Held at MKN Global's impressive HQ and production facility in Wolfenbuttel, Germany, visiting dealers from the UK candidly discussed the challenges and opportunities they face as they embark upon a new carbon frontier. Thanks go to Wayne Bennett at MKN UK, Holger Burgtorf, Jonathan Greep from HCE Foodservice Equipment, Matthew Gallagher from CDS Wilman, Richard Steade at ABDA Design, Sally Medina, CFSP at ifse and Simon Lloyd at Lloyd Catering Equipment Read how the conversation went at the link below (link also in comments) 👇 https://lnkd.in/e6JBXEhV

Completed Project: ALTA An open fire restaurant in the heart of London, with a menu inspired by Spain’s Basque region. It is led by Head Chef Rob Roy Cameron (El Bulli), Hoja Santa). HCE was selected by Artem Login of MAD Restaurants to bring SHW’s design intent to life and to deliver the catering equipment supply and installation. Gareth Sefton , Managing Director at SHW: “What was promised at interview—a robust drawing package, dedicated personnel, and meticulous logistical planning—was not only delivered but exceeded expectations. HCE’s project management was instrumental in driving the project forward and maintaining design integrity throughout."
