After 23 years, I’m beginning to understand what architecture means to me. For me, architecture is the stitching that sews the tapestry of life together. It creates homes where families can grow, laugh, and share meals. Architecture shapes the places where we learn, play, and celebrate. It gives us spaces to welcome new life, restore our health, and, eventually, to say goodbye in peace. At its heart, architecture is about the relationship between people and buildings, whether in small villages or large cities. It is about how we use these spaces every day, and how they help us to form communities, places where we meet, argue, laugh, relax, and feel safe. My hope is to play a small but positive role in shaping local community architecture, to help reconnect buildings to the people who use them. Dan

🏏 What a fantastic season of cricket and a huge year for Armitage Bridge Cricket Club! The First XI won the T20 Final for the third year in a row, while the Centre of Excellence team made a dominant debut in the Halifax Sunday League and earned a well deserved promotion after a strong season. For the first time since 2015, both the First and Second XI have been promoted in the same season. A massive achievement all around!
