It was fantastic for myself and our Head of Professional Development Aymen F. to see the next generation of hospitality talent in action, during a visit to Institute of Hospitality award winners Xcelerate with Edgbaston, Birmingham, where our Apprenticeship partners HIT Training delivered an exceptional Inclusive Dishes Culinary Workshop, showing learners how to create accessible and inclusive menus for diverse dietary needs. A brilliant showcase of innovation, skills, and the future of our profession. #imin #HospitalityFamily #InspireMotivateLearn #InclusiveCuisine #PlantBased #CulinarySkills #Apprenticeships #HITTraining #Xcelerate #FutureChefs

A pleasure to take some time to meet with Beth McMahon, President & CEO of the Hotel Association of Canada, the national voice for Canada‘s hotel industry, representing more than 8,300 hotels. Canada is a country where the Institute of Hospitality is privileged to have members, and our meeting was an excellent forum to discuss the shared challenges facing our profession in both the UK and Canada, and to explore opportunities for collaboration between our two organisations. Our members will be introduced to Beth and the work of the Hotel Association of Canada in an edition of our official magazine, coming next year. Thank you to Garreth Walsh and the team at the Kimpton Fitzroy London for hosting us. #StrongerTogether #HospitalityFamily #imin #InspireMotivateLearn

Delighted to join our Chief Executive Robert Richardson, FIH MI Paul Evans FIH and IoH London team for a business breakfast with Saqib Bhatti MBE MP, Shadow Minister for Education and a strong supporter of our application for Chartered Status. Good to see senior leaders and decision-makers from across our membership join us to hear Saqib's perspective on the loss of 110,000 (UK) hospitality jobs in the past year, the challenges that impact on our profession, and to learn more about his new brief.
