This notorious region had 3 of the 4 highest unemployment areas adding to tensions fuelled by sectarian divisions ⛓️💥 and a deep #mistrust for police. Needless to say, Stephen knows how to listen, assess, communicate and influence, and now he shares that exceptional level of knowledge with Integrity HSE's clients. A company has been fined £2.5 million 💰 after a worker was killed by a reversing vehicle 🚛. The Health and Safety Executive 🔎 found a failure to review and monitor the controls ⛔ that separate pedestrians from vehicles and CCTV 🎥 showed it was common place to bypass pedestrian routes and climb over barriers 🚷. The company pleaded guilty 👩⚖️ to breaching Regulation 5(1) of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and #fined £2.48 million plus ordered to pay costs. In this case, the company's existing control measures 🚫 may have allowed pedestrians 🚶 and vehicles to work #safely, but poor practices developed.
