This is a pivotal & thrilling moment in the redevelopment of 1 Victoria Street. We have retained & reused 52% of the structure and avoided temporary works in a three storey unpropped basement dig. This is quite unique, achieved by re-proving the retaining walls from historic photos and details to work in a way that they haven’t for 65 years.   And now for Chapter II, as 65,000sqm of high-quality office and retail space, designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris for Stanhope PLC and Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. rises from the basement. • Modern slavery can be closer than we think. Anti-Slavery Day, marked on 18th October, is a moment to shed light on the reality of modern slavery. It’s a global issue, and victims can be working on a site just down the road. How to identify potential victims? This isn’t always easy but common indicators include: 👉 Feeling forced to work against their will 👉 Unable to leave their job or living situation 👉 Showing signs of fear, distress or anxiety 👉 Experiencing violence or bearing visible injuries 👉 Receiving little or no pay — barely enough to survive At Keltbray, we stand by our ethical values and our commitment to treating everyone with dignity. We take proactive steps to combat modern slavery through clear policies, ongoing training, and a culture of fairness. If something doesn’t feel right, please speak up: 📲 Call the Modern Slavery Helpline: 0800 0121 700 💻 Visit modernslavery.co.uk 💬 Reach out to support organisations like The Salvation Army or the TARA Service Together, we can help end modern slavery in the construction industry. #AntiSlaveryDay #ModernSlaveryAwareness #Construction
