Any interpreter will do. Wrong. Speaking the language isn’t enough. Interpreters need the right expertise for the situation. In healthcare, sensitivity matters. In legal, accuracy is critical. And in housing, empathy builds trust. That’s why we carefully match every interpreter - so conversations are clear, respectful, and safe.

Too many people are excluded from vital services - simply because they don’t speak English. That means missing out on housing, healthcare, job opportunities, and even family support. Caitlin explains how our work with charities, big and small, makes sure this doesn’t happen. By connecting people with the right interpreters, we give everyone equal access to the services and support they need. Because language should never be a barrier to justice, care, or opportunity. 💙 Ring us whenever you may need us: 01482 971600

Some moments remind us exactly why we do what we do. This wasn’t about targets. Or deadlines. Or systems. It was about a client, an interpreter, and one of our team members - coming together to make someone feel heard, supported, and seen. When a client shares their gratitude, it’s not just for the interpreter. It’s for the connection. The care. The difference that moment made in their life. We’re proud to play even a small part in that. Share your experience below; we would love to hear.

Clear, accurate language is vital. For justice. For healthcare. For housing. For people. That’s what International Plain Language Day is all about - reminding us that language should include people, not exclude them. At Language is Everything, we believe: - Everyone deserves to understand what’s being said. - Everyone deserves information that’s clear, accurate, and human. - And everyone deserves to feel heard - no matter the language they speak. Let’s make plain, inclusive language the standard - not the exception.

What an amazing night for an amazing cause! 💙 Last week, we attended the P.A.U.L FOR BRAIN RECOVERY Ball - a charity close to so many hearts. It was inspiring to hear from families affected by Acquired Brain Injury, and to see first-hand the impact this charity makes through its support. We’re so proud to have been part of the evening, celebrating the work they do and the vital funds raised to help even more families in need.

One of the biggest risks in the language sector? Unqualified interpreters. They can cause delays, confusion - even serious mistakes. That’s why Rebecca’s role exists. 👇 As Head of Customer and Linguist Relations, she makes sure every client gets: - Full support and training on how to access and use services - Interpreters who are vetted, qualified, and matched to their needs - A service that’s tailored - never one-size-fits-all Rebecca listens to what customers want, then finds the right linguists to deliver it. Because when lives, justice, or housing are on the line, only qualified professionals will do.

Every sector we work with has one thing in common: they want their voices heard. But what about the most vulnerable voices - the ones that can’t always express their needs in English? As proud members and suppliers of the National Housing Federation, we attended the NHF conference in Liverpool to understand these challenges better. It was a brilliant event - hearing directly from housing professionals, learning the issues they face, and exploring how we can support them through accurate, accessible language services. For us, it’s about more than translation or interpreting. It’s about learning the right terminology, staying aligned with the sector, and making sure voices aren’t just heard - they’re understood. We’re excited to keep these conversations going and to keep learning how we can help. Where will Reece and Rebecca go next?
