LIV Golf is a global sports league featuring individual and team competition, a 14-tournament schedule, and many of the world’s best golfers. Founded in 2021, LIV Golf League was designed to expand the game on an international level and unlock the sport’s true economic and societal potential. Greg Norman, Hall of Fame golfer and renowned businessman, is the league’s first and founding CEO and Commissioner. With tournaments across North and Latin Americas, Asia, Australia, the Middle East and Europe, LIV Golf is growing and improving the game for fans and golfers alike. LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event ‘Invitational Series', while simultaneously backing The International Series as an exciting new addition to the Asian Tour. 2023 saw the inaugural LIV Golf League host 14 events around the world, from Adelaide to Chicago, Andalucía to Singapore, as well as launch the game’s first Team franchises, captained by some of golf’s most decorated superstars. The format, respecting the historic traditions of the game, has been optimized for modern-day sports fans: 3 days, 54 holes, no cut, and a shotgun start - offering an immersive fan experience, with a faster pace of play to drive engaging storylines. In 2024, LIV Golf further expanded the reach of the League, splitting the schedule between some of the most iconic venues across Asia, Europe and the Middle East with decorated venues in the US. The full player pathway, created in partnership with the Asian Tour, also launched, with the game’s first ever player Promotion and Relegation and Player Transfer Window. Off the course, LIV Golf League is dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of its communities through its ground-breaking social impact and sustainability strategy. ‘Potential, Unleashed’ reflects the league’s commitment to giving back and improving the world through golf.

Over the past three seasons, LIV Golf Adelaide has become synonymous with the scale, energy, and momentum of LIV Golf’s live event experience - celebrated for delivering the largest and most passionate crowds on our global calendar. In its inaugural year, the tournament welcomed 77,000 fans - a figure that rose to more than 90,000 in 2024 and set a new benchmark in 2025 with more than 102,000 attendees. In just three seasons, LIV Golf Adelaide has drawn more than 260,000 spectators, cementing its reputation as a defining showcase for the energy and momentum driving our league. LIV Golf Adelaide 2025 was my second event as LIV Golf CEO, and it is memorable for so many reasons: incredible competitive performances (including Patrick Reed hitting our first hole-in-one of the season); Dom Dolla’s concert, which captivated tens of thousands of fans in what remains the largest concert in league history; and watching Sergio Garcia rally Fireballs GC to fuel a win in the team competition - underscoring for me the importance of team golf. Australian fans are incredibly special, and Adelaide has given LIV Golf an extraordinary platform to build momentum for our league, teams, players, and the game of golf in this remarkable part of the world. Since 2023, The Grange has hosted unforgettable moments, and more await when we return February 13–15, 2026. This week, the Ryder Cup has once again taken center stage, and we have been proud to see three LIV Golf players - Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, and Bryson DeChambeau - competing in a rivalry that continues to capture the attention and passion of the world. Jon arrived at the Ryder Cup this week with an extraordinary record, unbeaten in foursomes across four Cups and with victories over some of the game’s greatest, including Tiger in his very first Ryder Cup point. This week, Jon has been one of Europe’s top performers, winning three of his four matches. As expected, Tyrrell brought passion and resilience, underscored by a history of picking up points against seven members of this year’s U.S. team, and a strong record across his three previous Cup appearances. Currently, Tyrrell has a 100% record and begins Sunday seven straight matches unbeaten. And Bryson, as ever, returned to this year’s Ryder Cup with his signature power, intensity, and charisma, carrying experience from partnerships with legends like Phil and Tiger while forging memorable ties alongside Jon and Tyrrell in past fourballs. Bryson currently leads Strokes Gained: Off the Tee this week, performing better with the driver than any of the other 23 players. With the perspective of my first season at LIV Golf behind me - and a deeper appreciation for the unique nuances of each golfer - particularly their competitive intensity and natural affinity for team play - being on the ground at Bethpage this week has been all the more compelling. The energy, camaraderie, and team competition that define the Ryder Cup feel familiar and warm, as they echo core tenets of the LIV Golf experience. In this last day of play, I am confident Jon, Tyrrell, and Bryson’s performances will continue to bring a special depth, energy, and intensity to the competition; creating richer, more layered storylines for fans around the world.
Friday’s opening Foursomes match in The Ryder Cup will feature all three LIV Golf players competing this week at Bethpage Black, with the European duo of Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton taking on American Bryson DeChambeau and his partner Justin Thomas. Rahm and Hatton are teammates on Legion XIII, which last month won the LIV Golf Michigan Team Championship in a playoff against DeChambeau and his Crushers GC teammate Paul Casey.
