I've written an article for Synaptic tackling why the UK needs better education on Tax-Advantaged Investments Many investors know about ISAs and pensions, but fewer are aware of powerful schemes like EIS, SEIS, VCTs, and BR, which offer substantial tax benefits while funding high-growth businesses. These schemes have channelled billions into UK start-ups, creating jobs and driving innovation in areas like biotech and renewable energy. But despite their potential, public awareness remains low. With better education, we could unlock billions more in investment, supporting the UK’s economy and driving positive change. Let’s start the conversation on how we can bridge this gap. https://lnkd.in/exDc4gxA #taxadvantagedinvestments #Investment #EIS #SEIS #VCT #BusinessRelief #EconomicGrowth #Innovation #FinancialEducation

Attention IFAs VCTs: An untapped opportunity? 🚀 Over the past 30 years, VCTs have raised £11 billion - yet they remain underutilised. With the 2024 budget extending support until 2035, the government is backing their role in driving UK growth.
