We believe it's our people and culture that help us get better each day. Delivering better and differently for London and Londoners. When experts across our industry agree, we happily take a moment to take stock and celebrate with our teams, our partners and our suppliers. We’re grateful to Building Magazine for recognising us as Housebuilder of The Year 2024 at last night’s award ceremony. From the judges themselves: “Mount Anvil has impressive and adaptable housing delivery plans while also placing a strong emphasis on community engagement to differentiate the business.” #BuildingAwards #HousebuilderOfTheYear #Winner #London #Communitites #Culture

We love when we know we're making a positive impact for young people in London. This student from Southwark fended off stiff competition (we had over 1,000 applications for 12 places) for a place on our industry-leading Makers & Mentors work experience programme, and we were blown away by her words in this thank you card: “I found it really useful to be in a real workplace, and I have learnt so many things from interior design to construction and finance… Now I can see clearly which areas I want to go into and a better understanding of the industry” “This experience has been incredibly helpful for personal and career development, and it has made me more confident about my future choices” Our Makers & Mentors programme continues to go from strength to strength, expanding equality of opportunity to the sector in meaningful ways: 💯 A 100% recommendation rate from students taking part in the work experience weeks 🤝 We reached young people from 24 boroughs, including students from Westminster City Council, Southwark Council, Islington Council and London Borough of Camden. 🚀 We've cultivated a thriving mentoring platform, with over 170 mentors already signed up and being matched with young people eager to learn and grow. ✅ A partnership grounded in openness ✅ A place shaped by collaboration Being open, honest and transparent is core to how we partner – which is why we ask repeat partner Peabody to score us on how we’re doing, give candid feedback and help us keep getting better. We do this so we know we’re doing right by our partners and the communities we’re working in. Part of Pursuing Better, Differently👏 In March this year, Peabody gave the Watermeadow Court team an NPS score of 67 – a strong result that reflects the trust and alignment we’ve built on the ground. #builtinpartnership

Supporting Local Friends in Gospel Oak 🏘️❤️ We believe that the best estate transformation projects create lasting impact from day one, and we’re doing this by investing in causes close to the community. In partnership with the local community, we invited residents to nominate and vote for their favourite causes which would help deliver projects that make a difference in Camden. Over 200 votes were cast to help us deliver the Mount Anvil funding across seven projects. XLP was one of the local groups nominated by the community to receive funding, and it was great to be invited down to see their work in action - making a positive impact for young people. 🤝 The future of Bacton Phase 2 is built-in community and empowering people to shape the places they live. #CommunityImpact #EstateTransformation #BuiltInCommunity
They build homes. We build safety. We’re stoked to have Mount Anvil standing with us! Their £5,000 gift is helping us run our mobile youth centre project in Camden. It ensures a safe, consistent and creative space that pulls up right where it’s needed. Mount Anvil knows how to build homes with care and community in mind. At XLP, we’re doing the same - just on four wheels, parked on an estate and listening to young people who are often unheard. When developers invest in youth work, they’re investing in the future of the communities they’re helping to shape. Thanks for backing us, Mount Anvil. The Church Street Partnership (Westminster City Council and Mount Anvil) celebrated the unveiling of the community hoarding, which features artwork from over 70 children and 3 artists from the Church Street community— and what a celebration it was! 🎉 The community came together for the unveiling moment, which featured a curtain specially crafted by one of the Church Street traders. Children from Marylebone Bangladesh Society Youths, St Edward’s School and Gateway Academy brought their creativity to this project — each piece inspired by what Church Street means to them. We were joined by local artists Daniel Leon, Anjalee Malan and Donde Collective, whose incredible work features on the hoarding. They spoke about their inspiration and their connection to Church Street. 🎨 Thank you to Cllr Ellie Ormsby, Dr Aziz Toki and Cllr Hamza Taouzzale for being part of the celebrations. Cllr Ellie Ormsby put it best: “Regeneration is much more than just new buildings. It’s about people and families that live here, and the communities we can build through our projects. It’s also about recognising the history of the area, its creativity, and its people. The hoarding the Church Street Partnership has installed tells such a rich story. It captures the spirit of Church Street, through the photos and artwork, and it’s a reminder that this is such a vibrant community.” It was an incredible turnout and a real reminder that the best estate transformations start with the community — listening, collaborating and bringing them on the journey. 🚀🤝

What a day out on the course with our supply chain partners at the Mount Anvil Supply Chain Charity Golf Day ⛳️ It’s always a privilege to spend time together away from the day‑to‑day, strengthening relationships and having some fun – all while making a real difference to the welfare and wellbeing of people in our industry. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who took part, we raised an incredible £16,000 for The Lighthouse Charity – helping provide life‑changing support to construction workers and their families. We’re proud of the partnerships we’ve built with our supply chain. Days like this show that while we’re still hitting milestones on site, we're also coming together to hit fairways and give back to the industry we're a part of. Here’s to more great days, strong partnerships and making an impact together. 🤝 A massive thank you to those who helped organise the day Brian Van Campenhout, Paul Carter, Dan Dreher and Helen Hutchinson. Sunshine, celebrations and a step forward for Barnsbury! ☀️🍕 We marked another milestone this July – the submission of our latest planning application for 1,140 new homes at New Barnsbury, in partnership with Newlon Housing Trust and Islington Council. To celebrate, we brought the community together for an afternoon of food, fun and basketball 🏀 Basketball coaches from our partners BC London Lions ran high-energy sessions with residents of all ages, leading dribbling, passing and shooting drills. Residents also enjoyed pizza, ice cream and face painting to arts, crafts and a magician. ✨ We’re proud that 78% of residents supported our proposals in the latest independent test of opinion – proof that the vision for Barnsbury is truly a shared one. The future of Barnsbury is bright – and the community is right behind it. 🙌

✅ A partnership built on trust. ✅ A place we’re proud of. Our joint venture with Peabody at St John’s Hill in Battersea is delivering more than just high-quality homes – it’s delivering on the promise of true partnership. Our partnerships are built on being open, honest and transparent, which is why we ask Peabody to score us on what we’re delivering. Feedback is a gift. In March this year, they gave the team at St John’s Hill an NPS score of 80, an exceptional result and a clear sign that we’re aligned not only in ambition, but in how we work. 👏 #builtinpartnership

Hello everyone👋🏾, Last week I was lucky enough to complete an amazing work experience week placement at Mount Anvil , and I’m incredibly grateful for everything I learned during my time there. Throughout the week, I had the chance to connect with professionals across the company — from sales, marketing, and finance to the recruitment team, surveyors, and even the head of sales. Each session helped me better understand the different roles and teamwork involved in delivering high-quality developments. We also toured the Clapham One site, where I got to explore their stunning apartments and experience the CGI room, which gave a realistic, immersive view of both the interiors and the surrounding area. It was one of my favourite parts of the week and really brought the designs to life. This experience deepened my knowledge of real estate, strengthened my passion for the industry, and opened my eyes to new career paths I hadn’t considered before. A big thank you to everyone at Mount Anvil for being so welcoming and supportive, it’s an experience I’ll carry forward with real appreciation!
