About us
MyNewTerm is a multi-award winning, innovative web application developed by teachers out of moral purpose to support schools and multi-academy trusts to improve efficiency and save on the cost to recruit. With a proven model of success, MyNewTerm has connected tens of thousands of candidates direct with employers. The application empowers candidates to be able to easily search, setup personalised job alerts and apply direct to schools and MATs online via a fully GDPR & Keeping Children Safe in Education compliant application. Schools and multi-academy trusts can brand careers pages to showcase as an employer of choice, improve efficiency by easily managing all candidate applications online using a bespoke Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and benefit from automated features to save time including an innovate API to automatically display vacancies on school/trust websites. Multi-academy trusts also have the option to centralise recruitment and utilise MyNewTerm for member schools. The application has been developed with the support and technical guidance of leading Computer Science academics at the University of Bedfordshire and the Open University. As a first in the market, the application utilises innovate open data from the Department for Education (DfE) to automatically populate the careers pages of all ~30,000 schools and linked multi-academy trusts throughout England and Wales. The application is now utilised as the sole careers platform by hundreds of schools and multi-academy trusts to improve efficiency, ensure compliance and increase candidate attraction. We are delighted to have won a number of awards including; 'Best start-up technology business', 'Best technology collaboration' (following our continued partnership with local universities) and 'Best Innovation'.
