To mark National Food Bank Day on September 5th, the team at Navara came together to give back to our community. With generous donations from colleagues, we collected a variety of food items and distributed them evenly between Kettering Food Bank and Corby Food Bank, as our mill is located between the two towns. During our visits, we had the pleasure of meeting some incredible volunteers who shared insight into the important work they do and the people they support. Corby Foodbank- https://lnkd.in/d2uHJsR At its busiest, Corby Food Bank has supported over 3,000 local residents. They work closely with Citizens Advice, offering not only food assistance but also guidance for those facing financial difficulties. Kettering Food Bank- https://lnkd.in/gz-TRfF Kettering Food Bank prepares tailored food parcels for individuals, couples, and families. They also feature an outdoor area where select items are free to pick, supporting those in need in a sustainable and dignified way. Both food banks do an outstanding job helping local people in crisis. We were proud to support their work and encourage everyone to consider donating, volunteering, or simply spreading the word.
