🚨 NORTHERN MONK REFECTORY YORK….COMING SOON! 🚨 I’m really excited to share the news that we broke on socials yesterday, that our Northern Monk Refectory York opens in late October. 🚀 Offering 20 taps of the freshest beers, made up of Northern Monk core champions, special releases and guest beers from the best local breweries around. There will also of course, be wine, cocktails and coffee served from within the spacious and historic walls of the venue, that’s located in an old townhouse in the heart of York city centre. 🍺 This new opening is particularly special as we’re joined by hometown friends and legends of the food and drink scene Supamarkets, who are bringing Fu Express (a new twist on the iconic House of Fu), that will be serving Japanese inspired snacks. Fu Express will be backed up by Crudo Cantina and Yonkers Pizza, who will bring their vibrant tacos and New York slices & pies respectively. 🤤 Massive kudos to Robbie Mills for all the hard work on the project to date. 👏🏼 Let’s do this! GREAT NORTHERN DAY 2025 We believe the North deserves a day of its own. On Sunday 24th August, Great Northern Day will be launched, a national celebration of the people, places, creativity and character that make the North so special. We’re marking the occasion with a free-to-attend launch party at Bradford’s Darley Street Market, alongside iconic Northern brands including Seabrook Crisps, Bundobust, Great North Pie Co., MyLahore Restaurants, Hip Pop and more. Here’s what to expect on the day: 🥧 Exclusive Great Northern Day pie collaborations 🍺 Faith (lots of it!), alcohol-free options and Northern snacks 🎵 All-day live music: brass bands, DJs, Northern Soul and Bhangra 🎨 Northern creative market and family workshops 👕 Northern-inspired clothing and merchandise We’ll also be launching a year-long project to create a flag of the North, to be revealed at Great Northern Day 2026. 📍 Darley Street Market, Bradford ⏰ 11am-7pm 🎟️ Free entry, family friendly This is the start of what we hope will become an annual cultural celebration of the North. Whatever we’re calling it, there’s something special about the industry we’re in, something you don't get from a Bacardi Breezer. Consumer trends will come and go, but the dream of what Northern Monk and beer can be? That's here to stay. A few things we're particularly proud of lately, milestones we dreamt of when this journey began 12 years ago. 🙏 B Corp accredited! (we’ve worked super hard for this and so grateful to have finally got there), Highest rated drinks company to work for with Best Companies, Real Living Wage Accredited and on target to donate £150K to community causes through our own foundation - Faith in Futures 😋 GREAT TASTE AWARDS - Faith ⭐️⭐️ Heathen ⭐️⭐️ Beyond ⭐️⭐️ 🏆 6th top beer for Faith in U.K. (highest ranking, most widely available?!) - in incredible company. Thanks Greg Wells and co 🎨 Fresh Fest - our annual street art festival - Rooted in a love for the street art / graff scene for last 25 years! Now in it's 4th year and attracting some of the UK's biggest names. Credit to our partners Leeds Street Gallery here too 🚀 Off to a flying start with our first bar in Bradford. My hometown. 🤜 🤛 Still sat next to Bri in the office 12 years in. Still battle to keep each others stuff off our desks. Whatever the term for what we do is, it’s built on people, passion, quality - recognising we won’t always get it right but a determination to do just that. Trends will come and go, we're gonna keep on keeping the Faith and chasing down the dreams.

Our First Impact Report 🌍 It’s a privilege to be able to make something that’s often at the centre of celebrations, key moments within communities. Something that can be truly delightful (whilst accepting the occasional miss!) - we’re on a mission to make sure it always is. However, we also hope that we have so much more to offer than ‘just beer’. We’re committed to trying to do the right thing, for our people, our community, and the planet We have 3 main commitments to help us address these priorities: 🌱 To become carbon-zero in direct emissions by 2030. 🏠 To be the best real living wage employer we can be. 💛 To support community projects in the north with a total of £150,000 in donations via the Faith in Futures foundation by the end of 2025. Setting these goals and getting to work addressing them has been a long process that has involved every single Monk, not just the ones in this photo. So a huge thank you to them! 👏 In an effort to share our progress with the wider Northern Monk community, we’re proud to present our Impact Report. It gives a thorough rundown of our environmental impact and the progress we’ve made over the course of the last year, what it’s like to work for Northern Monk, and the work we do with our charity partners. Welcome to the team Ryan McCarry 🤝 We’re delighted to welcome Ryan to Northern Monk as a Non-Executive Director. Ryan first got involved as an investor during our most recent crowdfund, and he’s now supporting us more closely as an advisor on key commercial projects, helping to shape the next stage of our growth while representing the voice of our 4,000-strong community of crowdfund investors. He brings valuable experience from across the drinks industry, including his work with our friends at leading alcohol-free beer brand, Mash Gang, where he supported major milestones such as launching in the US, relocating UK production to Leeds, improving quality, scaling capacity, and building the brand for rapid growth. We’re excited to have Ryan involved and look forward to the journey ahead 🚀

🗞️ Look mum, I got a feature interview in the grocer! 🗞️ I told you that writing off the suspension on your car delivering beer across the North would all come to something one day. 12 years since we started NORTHERN MONK from my mum’s cellar and it’s humbling to see that same drive to create incredible experiences recognised at this level as our small team at Monk competes against some of the biggest brands and marketing budgets in the U.K. Why Mighty Ducks and Cool Runnings as my favourite films, people have asked - First watching these films as a kid - stories of teams of people coming together to defy the status quo are core memories and continue to inspire me to this day. Alas Northern Monk bobsleigh team is yet to get going but we practice a few flying V’s in the car park occasionally. Huge thanks to James Beeson / The Grocer for coming to visit to hear more about Northern Monk. Apologies for the car and eternal gratitude to Kersten England DL CBE for the support for our company from its formative years to this day.

BIG NEWS 🚀 In 2025 we’ll be brewing more Northern Monk beer than ever before. A 20% increase in capacity means an extra 2 million pints, and more opportunities to grow our community even further. As a result, we’re excited to announce a new distribution partnership with Damm UK - globally renowned, family-owned brewery and the makers of Estrella Damm - as we join forces in taking Northern Monk beer across the UK. Starting in May, Damm UK will be distributing Faith and A Little Faith on our behalf, focusing on the national bar groups where we’re not currently listed. What this means for us, and you… ➡️ This is a distribution-only agreement, the partnership is all about getting Northern Monk beer into the hands of more people up and down the country and accelerating our growth alongside a best-in-class partner who prioritises quality as much as we do. ➡️ The beer recipes aren't changing and will continue to be brewed from our Holbeck home. ➡️ Nothing is changing from an ownership or shareholding perspective, we remain an independent, founder-led craft brewery. You’re about to see a lot more of us in 2025. We’re excited to be working with a partner that shares our values to bring Faith and A Little Faith to more pubs and bars near you, as we push towards our ambition of becoming Europe’s largest craft brewery by 2035.
