About us

Where performance matters most ⟶ Where policies are made. Where care is delivered and lives are supported. Where lessons begin and futures take shape. Where data flows and networks hold. Where planes take flight and trains arrive. Where machines run, orders are fulfilled, and shoppers check out. Where assets are protected, intelligence secured, and operations stay mission-ready. Where workforces connect and teams progress. Where audiences gather and crowds celebrate – experiences delivered and memories made. In environments that are often critical and always essential, it’s our responsibility to keep them running – without disruption and without compromise. Service built for complexity ⟶ OCS provides hard services–led integrated facilities management, built for environments where failure isn’t an option. We deliver engineering, asset maintenance, energy management and compliance at scale, supported by smart cleaning, security, catering and workplace services – ensuring every part of the estate supports the people and operations it serves. Our self-delivery model gives greater control, consistency and accountability. With technology, data and automation embedded throughout, we bring the insight and agility to manage estates more efficiently – and respond to change with confidence. Whether a critical site or a dispersed portfolio, the focus remains on what matters most – safety, compliance, optimisation, performance and experience. The values behind consistent delivery ⟶ In addition to processes and technology, complex environments rely on people who are trained, trusted and ready to do the right thing – consistently. Our TRUE Values – Trust, Respect, Unity and Empowerment – guide how services are delivered. They shape how teams communicate, take responsibility, and support one another on the ground. These values are visible every day – in how safety is upheld, how issues are solved, and how standards are maintained in the most demanding settings.

As we celebrate 125 years, this #ThrowbackThursday takes us back to a defining moment and the beginning of a new era of digital innovation for OCS, dating back to the early 80s. In the early 1980s, OCS took its first major step into the digital world with the introduction of a new computer system called FAITH: Fast Accurate Information Transacted Here. Installed at our New Century House headquarters in London, FAITH transformed the way we worked. It streamlined customer accounts, improved cost control, and helped our teams across the UK share information more effectively, long before the phrase “digital transformation” became familiar. It was an opportunity for innovation, to utilise new tools to work smarter, support colleagues more effectively, and deliver a more reliable service to customers. That spirit of curiosity and progress still runs through our business today. Now, more than 40 years on, our commitment to innovation continues, in ways Richard Hackman and his team in this 1980s photo could never have imagined. From AI and robotics to smart building management systems (BMS), we utilise technology to enhance our services, making them safer, more efficient, and more sustainable, while keeping people and purpose at the heart of what we do. Because for us, innovation has always been about empowering people to deliver their best work. Today is World Values Day, a global initiative and moment to reflect on the principles that guide our actions – as individuals, families, teams, and as organisations, helping shape the future. → OCS’s TRUE Values – Trust, Respect, Unity and Empowerment – are the foundations of how we serve, and work together to deliver for our customers, colleagues, and communities across our portfolio. TRUE enables us to: → Build trust through consistent, transparent action → Demonstrate respect by valuing every individual → Foster unity across diverse teams and geographies → Empower people to take ownership, innovate and grow These values support our long-term mission to create safe, sustainable, and exceptional environments (making people and places the best they can be), and drive us towards our vision of being the partner of choice in facilities services. To mark World Values Day, we invited colleagues around the globe to share which of the TRUE Values resonate most with them – and how these values shape their everyday work. The result is an inspiring collection of voices that reflect the strength, diversity and shared purpose of our global OCS community. #WorldValuesDay #TRUEValues #WeAreOCS 🧡

Critical expertise that’s delivering safety, hygiene and peace of mind. → This International Thank Your Cleaner Day, we recognise those individuals who provide essential cleaning services across OCS and beyond. From Government buildings and healthcare facilities to laboratories, life sciences, education, technology infrastructure, and data centres – and through to retail, museums, and heritage sites – professional cleaning delivers protection, wellbeing, preservation and operational readiness in the environments that matter most. → OCS cleaning teams uphold the highest standards in sectors where precision and compliance are non-negotiable. → They create hygienic, safe and welcoming spaces that allow others to work, learn, care, innovate and serve. → Their skill, attention to detail and commitment often operate quietly – although their impact is seen, felt and deeply valued. Cleaning is a critical service – one that requires training, care and deep understanding of the environments we protect. Whether maintaining sterile conditions in a lab, safeguarding patient wellbeing in hospitals, or preserving national treasures, the role our colleagues play is fundamental. Thank you to every cleaning professional at OCS and across the wider industry. #WeAreOCS #TRUEValues #ThankYourCleanerDay2025

THANK YOU, Sue! → From early mornings to late evenings, our cleaning teams work diligently behind the scenes, making spaces safe, welcoming, and ready for others to learn, care, and connect. This Thank Your Cleaner Day, we’re sharing the stories of two OCS colleagues who embody that dedication every day: Sue, a Cleaning Supervisor in Westbury, and Nicky, a Cleaning Supervisor in Broadstone. Sue describes her school as “a second home” – leading her team with care and pride, and even baking cakes to thank them for their hard work. “When I hand the school back over after a deep clean and say, it’s all nice, clean and tidy, that’s when I feel proud.” For Nicky, who joined OCS after a long career as a chef, the reward comes from teamwork and respect. “If there weren’t cleaners, the world would be in a sorry state,” she says. “Everywhere needs a cleaner – and we all deserve respect for what we do.” Both Sue and Nicky have seen firsthand how appreciation makes a difference. At Nicky’s school, a survey even found that the building looks better and the cleaning team seem happier since OCS took over – proof that pride and support go hand in hand. Read Sue and Nicky’s full stories here: https://lnkd.in/e9DjQx-T To Sue, Nicky, and every cleaning team: → Thank you for your skill, care, and dedication. → Thank you for setting the standard every day. → Thank you for making people and places the best they can be. #ThankYourCleanerDay #WeAreOCS #FacilitiesManagement #ThankYouSue
