We’re proud to share this podcast between our CEO, Sandi Wassmer, and HR Grapevine. Sandi talks about what truly inclusive workplace cultures look like in 2025, and why inclusion must be part of how organisations work every day, not just something that sits in a strategy document. She speaks openly about her own leadership journey, the findings from our State of Inclusion Report, and what it takes to build cultures where people feel safe, valued, and able to thrive. Sandi also speaks candidly about her own leadership journey and what it means to create a psychologically safe environment where people can thrive. The conversation around inclusion has fundamentally changed. It’s no longer just about policy; it’s about pragmatism. At the House of Lords for the 2025 manifesto launch from The Employers' Network for Equality & Inclusion (ENEI)—operated by Onvero—the shift was palpable. Leaders are moving past pledges and demanding structural change. Why? The demographic data is undeniable. By 2030, the ONS projects the UK will have 𝟭.𝟮 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝟱𝟬-𝟲𝟰, but just 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝟭𝟱-𝟮𝟵. The future workforce is older, more experienced, and brings a different definition of "value" to the table. As skills shortages intensify, businesses can no longer afford to overlook this talent pool. Inclusive recruitment is no longer an HR initiative—it’s a core strategic necessity. 👇 I’ve written a short article on why this is a defining moment for HR and Talent leaders. #UKHR #Inclusion #TalentAcquisition #FutureOfWork #HRLeadership #Recruitment #AgeDiversity #WorkforcePlanning

We're proud to share that two Capita programmes have been shortlisted for Onvero's Employers Network for Equality & Inclusion (enei) Inclusivity Excellence Awards 2025! We are nominated in two categories, highlighting our commitment to talent development and disability inclusion: 🧑💼 'Talent Retention, Development and Progression' category: Moving Ahead programme 🧑💻 'Innovative Approach to Diversity, Equality and Inclusion' category: Reverse Disability Mentoring programme "I’m incredibly proud of the teams behind these programmes and of the recognition they’ve received. Being shortlisted for the enei Inclusivity Excellence Awards and achieving a Golden Talent Inclusion and Diversity Evaluation (TIDE) recognition earlier this year is a testament to the progress we’re making in creating a more inclusive workplace. While we know there’s still work to do, these nominations show that we continue to make really good progress. Congratulations to everyone involved for helping to build a culture where everyone is valued!" Scott Hill, Chief People Officer at Capita. Keeping our fingers crossed for the awards ceremony on 13 November! 🤞 #EveryoneIsValued #CreatingBetter #Recruitment #Mentoring #Inclusion

We’re proud to spotlight our colleague, Prakash Panchal, in our latest “What You Make It” video. Prakash shares what inclusion looks like when it’s done right. At Onvero, we believe inclusion starts with listening, supporting one another, and creating safe spaces for honest conversations. Prakash’s story is a powerful example of how we live these values every day.

How confident are you and your teams about using and respecting pronouns at work? Getting it right is about more than words; it’s about creating a culture where everyone feels seen, respected, and valued. In our recent webinar, “What’s in a Pronoun? Understanding Identity at Work, Onvero’s Inclusion Lead, Dana David, shared practical steps organisations can take to make inclusion more than a one-day conversation. ➊ Normalise pronoun sharing – Encourage pronouns in email signatures, meetings, and introductions. Keep them optional but visible to signal respect and allyship. ➋ Model respectful behaviour – When leaders consistently share their pronouns and use correct pronouns, they set the tone for inclusion across the organisation. ➌ Review your policies and processes – Use gender-neutral language in policies, procedures, and communications to reflect and respect all identities. ➍ Foster psychological safety – Create an environment where employees feel comfortable being open about who they are—without fear of negative consequences. Watch the full recording to discover meaningful ways to celebrate and observe International Pronouns Day this Wednesday, 15 October and explore how to embed inclusive practices into your workplace all year round. https://ow.ly/wwAI50X9Eus

Inclusion can’t just live in a policy document. Our brand new Onvero report reveals that while 9 in 10 organisations have a DEI strategy, only 1 in 4 have embedded it into everyday culture. The gap between intention and impact is real, but it’s not irreversible. 👉 Discover how leading organisations are turning ambition into action https://ow.ly/VS5R50XcslE

In this video, Onvero Inclusion Lead, Hugh O'Keeffe, emphasises that inclusion begins with small actions that can lead to significant impacts, whether it's discussing reasonable adjustments or creating an environment where people feel safe to speak openly. We’re more than job titles, genders, or boxes to tick. In this video, Onvero CEO, Sandi Wassmer reminds us that identity isn’t defined by labels. It’s defined by how we live, love, and show up as humans. #WhatYouMakeIt #Onvero
