🌟 We are hiring a Programme Manager to enable and help manage the rapid growth and impact of the Oxford Sustainable Law Programme at the University of Oxford. 🌍 Our multidisciplinary team carries out some of the most high-impact and decision-relevant research on law and sustainability globally. That research informs our inspirational teaching at Oxford (e.g. graduate and post-graduate courses as well as executive education) and globally (e.g. to supreme court justices and senior government leaders), and it also is the basis for our high-impact engagements with senior stakeholders around the world (e.g. with international organisations like the United Nations, governments, and businesses). Some examples of our work: - Rupert Stuart-Smith leads our work at the interface of climate science and the law, studying how cutting-edge scientific advances (like in the field of attribution science) can support new legal and policy actions. - Benjamin Franta leads our work on climate litigation, studying for example how a strengthened evidence base can support accountability for climate harms and misinformation (e.g. CLARA-RESEARCH). - Bhavya Gupta and Emma Lecavalier lead our work on climate policy, through our collaboration with Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford in the Oxford Climate Policy Hub, which publishes the pioneering open-access Climate Policy Monitor that tracks the implementation of climate policy across countries. - Maud Sarlieve leads the Climate Research Forum, which brings together practitioners and researchers from around the world to deliver urgently-needed research to decision-makers. - Together with Nick Young, I lead our work on business law and sustainability. We study how business law (corporate law, financial law, insurance law, etc.) responds, or could respond, to the exigencies of climate change. - And much more… 🫵 The Programme Manager plays a central role to enable this work. You provide professional management and operational leadership across all our activities, overseeing the Programme’s administration, finance, communications, and coordination, and supporting the delivery of research and educational programmes. You will act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and will ensure the our team operates to the highest professional standards across all our activities. 👇 More details of the role are available below – and you should feel free to reach out with any questions. The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on 1 December 2025. https://lnkd.in/eihW-F3i
