  • Making a difference together, wrapping up Global Volunteer Week. Last night, we celebrated the incredible impact of our 2025 mentorship programme with Generation Success, which has fostered over 120 mentoring relationships between our volunteers and young people from diverse backgrounds. Through these connections, we are empowering future talent to achieve their career aspirations, develop professional skills, and access opportunities. Today our volunteers: ⚡ Supercharged social enterprises in the US & UK with our business skills with We Make Change. 💡 Inspired girls and non-binary young people at a STEM goals day with Stemettes in our Cambridge office. 🧑🌾 Reimagined garden space at a Single Homeless Project facility in London to create a welcoming haven for clients. Thank you to the 172 colleagues who volunteered over 1400 hours this week, supporting our charity partners and local communities. Global Volunteer Week may be coming to a close, but our commitment to making a positive impact continues.

  • We’re proud to see the impact of our Global Volunteer Week growing across the world. In New York, volunteers spent time at Start Lighthouse’s Literacy Hub in the Bronx, working with local elementary students on an interactive read-aloud session which culminated in the students sharing and presenting their awesome work. Colleagues from our Denver, Cambridge, and London offices are collaborating with the Raspberry Pi Foundation’s free coding resources even more accessible for learners everywhere. By translating resources into Danish, German and Hindi they are helping thousands of young people around the world build vital coding skills. And colleagues in Belfast headed to Storehouse to volunteer at their food and clothes bank. Storehouse freely provides food, clothes and toiletry packs to families and individuals throughout Belfast who are experiencing extreme financial difficulty. Thank you to everyone who’s made a difference so far this week.

From navigating digital transformation and embedding AI in products and operations, to moving care closer to the patient, the opportunities are vast for medtech leaders - but so are the challenges. At The MedTech Conference in San Diego, our experts demonstrated how we’re helping clients meet these demands by designing and developing solutions that are intelligent, human-centric, and impactful. #MTC25 Andrew Savarese, Derick D., Dave Banks, Melanie Turieo

  • What does it really take to get ahead – not just keep up – in a world of accelerating innovation? Most organisations focus on being faster or smarter with the tools they already have. But true disruption? That comes from doing things differently, and that’s where science comes in. When we hit the limits of today’s technologies, science gives us new rules to play by and opens up entirely new solution spaces. Here’s what that looks like in action: ▶️ Quantum technologies: Reimagining how we sense and compute - hybrid quantum and classical sensing systems to enable advanced communication and navigation tools, and hybrid computing to drive faster, smarter decisions. ▶️ Cell and gene therapies: Rethinking medicine by editing biology itself, rather than just treating symptoms. ▶️ Next-gen materials in packaging: Advancing manufacturing processes to unlock capabilities that were previously out of reach. ▶️ Direct air capture (DAC): Redefining climate action by using engineered systems to remove CO2 directly from the atmosphere, turning emissions into a resource and enabling scalable carbon removal beyond traditional offsets. These aren’t just technical upgrades, they’re strategic and conceptual shifts. And they all start with a bold question: What if we didn’t just optimise the rules, but used a different rulebook? What challenge are you facing that might need a new set of rules?

  • Global Volunteer Week is in full swing, and today’s volunteering efforts included a behind-the-scenes visit to The Poppy Factory to take part in poppy-making and preparing over 200 stakes for the Field of Remembrance. One volunteer shared, “It was an emotional day, especially for me as I was given a cross to add my grandfather’s name. Knowing it will be planted in the Remembrance garden on behalf of my family was truly touching.” Meanwhile, at Ada, the National College for Digital Skills, volunteers from London supported a Presentation Skills feedback session, offering advice and constructive feedback to help Ada students boost their confidence and refine their communication skills. Additionally, volunteers facilitated a Top Down Thinking session for young people during a virtual meeting of The Social Mobility Foundation's Youth Advisory Panel, bringing together members from across the UK. This enabled participants to develop new leadership skills and frameworks to support their roles on the panel. More volunteering impact coming tomorrow…
