Following our AGM this year, our board members and involved tenants met together to exchange ideas and thoughts about what we achieved together during 2024/25. It was chance to celebrate the positive outcomes for tenants and our communities, as well as looking at ideas for future improvements in how we deliver our services to tenants Each board member and involved tenant took part in craft activities that were creative and fun, themed around “What are you most proud of about living, working, being at Progress?” and “What would living and working at Progress look like in five years’ time?” Group chief executive Jacqui De-Rose commented on the success of the event and says: “By working together, taking a moment just to reflect on what's been achieved and sharing that experience is really good for everybody's wellbeing. It’s also important to understand what can we do differently, what can we do better, and just take that time to sit together and hear each other's views. We can listen to each other and think about what the future could look like.” Reflecting on our shared purpose and achievements during the past year, our Group Chair Sheena McDonnell says: “These achievements matter because they reflect our shared purpose. For tenants, it’s about having secure homes and support. For colleagues and the board, it’s about delivering with integrity and care. And for the wider community, it’s about being more than a housing provider, we are a partner in people’s lives.” Watch our video highlights here: https://lnkd.in/eGNfaR4R #TenantVoice

Our Group Annual Report 2024-25. We are proud to share that our financial performance for the year continues to be strong. Our financial performance for the year improved from the prior year due to the continuing strength of our social housing business streams. There has also been mitigating strategies for those non-social housing business streams that had been underperforming financially, which helped to improve financial performance, too. Our strong shared ownership sales performance contributed to our turnover increase of 5.3%. Applications will close this weekend for our second Soup Dragon’s Den of 2025. This is such an inspirational event, where we hear about all the amazing things volunteers do to support people in their communities through exciting projects and activities. We are immensely proud to be able to support these projects through our Community Investment Fund. During our last event in May, we awarded the winning pitchers, Longton Carnival (Community Group), £1,000 to organise a Winter Wonderland in Longton. We also awarded £200 to the other pitchers, Leyland Singers, Scoot for School, and Community Workshop Lytham, to support their projects. Diane Nash, Customer Voice Manager, said: “We are incredibly proud to support community projects through our fund. It is inspiring to see the positive impact these initiatives have on our local communities, and we are committed to continuing our support through our Soup Dragon’s Den events.”

Delivering outstanding customer service is a priority for us because it aligns with our values and social purpose. To mark Customer Service Week, Neil Bergin Faragher, our Head of Group Customer Experience explains how our customer service style framework is having such an impact. “Our in-house customer service style framework, RAMP, has been a pivotal part of our journey in ensuring that everyone at Progress Housing Group understands their role in delivering a fantastic experience for our tenants and customers. “Over the past 18 months, we have been diligently conducting RAMP workshops for all colleagues, including our repair operatives, to help them incorporate the principles of the framework in tenants’ homes and neighbourhoods. "This framework is designed to align with our existing values and behaviours, providing a consistent approach to working more effectively with tenants, external customers, internal colleagues, and partners to achieve positive outcomes. “The results have been promising so far, and it’s heartening to see a reduction in communication-related complaints since the training began. Our colleagues have been encouraged to use the framework for coaching opportunities and to hold one another accountable for working in a more collaborative manner. “It’s wonderful to witness this approach becoming embedded in our culture and activities across the Group. “In September, a tremendous team effort involving many colleagues from various business streams worked tirelessly to showcase our customer service achievements during a four-day assessment for the Customer Service Excellence standard. “We are eagerly awaiting the outcome and have everything crossed that our dedication and passion for delivering exceptional service to our tenants and customers were evident during the assessor’s visit.” #NCSW #CustomerService #NationalCustomerServiceWeek
