The journey to find the Racing Post/SIS Ltd Betting Shop Manager of the Year 2025 is nearing its finale🏆 Yesterday at Racing Post offices, a competition which started with nearly one hundred entries reached its final eight managers as the judges selected their finalists, each of whom represent the very best of the retail betting sector. The Final takes places across Sunday 9th and Monday 10th November. On Sunday 9th, the final eight managers plus their deputies meet the judges for the final round of interviews. And on the following day, the Awards Lunch will take place at The Great Hall, Lincoln’s Inn. The lunch will welcome the eight finalists with their partners and their shop teams, as well as senior executives across the betting and racing industry to celebrate not only retail betting as a whole but to crown the Betting Shop Manager of the Year 2025. On Wednesday, the final 16 managers in the Betting Shop Manager of the Year 2025 competition joined the judges for a day of racing and hospitality at Kempton Park Racecourse. Selected through their Q&A paper and subsequent mystery shopper visits, each finalist took part in interviews with Derek Thompson before enjoying a three-course lunch followed by the 9-race twilight meeting. Reigning champion Georgina Maloney from BOYLE Sports was on hand to share her insight with the 2025 finalists, providing her own take on what it means to be a champion Betting Shop Manager and inspiring our finalists to success.
