Speaking today, Rainbow Trust’s Chief Executive, Zillah Bingley, said: "We welcome the £80 million for children's hospices but it does not go far enough. It does nothing for the many services and providers within the wider palliative care sector, such as Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, who currently receives no central Government funding or wider recognition." It’s been another fantastic month of fundraising from our corporate partners! With a lovely stretch of sunshine, they have made the most of the great weather to get outside and raise vital funds for Rainbow Trust. Our Corporate Star of the Month goes to Winn Group who over the past few months have taken on some tough challenges! 🌈 On 23rd June 2025, Winn Group kicked things off with a 72-Hole Charity Golf Challenge and completed the event in an impressive 17 hours and 45 minutes. ⛳ Ross Jackson from Winn Group said: "The lads on the 72-hole golf challenge did a tremendous job raising a significant amount for Rainbow Trust, our chosen charity of the year." "Although the prospect of playing golf all day sounds good, the challenge itself is real; starting at 3.45am and finishing at 9.30pm certainly left a few of the team members feeling the after effects for a few days following!" More recently the team took on the Hadrian’s Wall Trek, covering a marathon distance in around 12 hours and hosted their own Quiz Night. 🙌 These incredible efforts bring Winn Group’s total fundraising to an amazing £7,699.44, which is enough to provide 240 hours of practical and emotional support to families caring for a seriously ill child. A huge thank you to Winn Group for your continued support and inspiring fundraising efforts!

⭐CORPORATE STAR OF THE MONTH⭐ July was another busy month of corporate fundraising activities, with our partners making the most of the good weather and coming together to raise money for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity. Our corporate star of the month goes to our long-term supporters Natta Building Company Ltd, who have raised over £135,000 to date. Incredible! On 04 July, Natta hosted their 16th Annual Natta Charity Golf Day ⛳ which raised an amazing total of £31,500, with £10,500 of this amount given to Rainbow Trust! This money will enable us to fund 328 hours of vital practical and emotional support to families caring for a seriously ill child. A big thank you to the organisers, supporters, and everyone who contributed to this amazing total! We also welcomed team Natta to our very own corporate golf day on 08 August. John, Huw, Matt and Bill scored an impressive 98 points and walked away with the trophy! 🏆 Congratulations! We are excited to see if they can hold on to the title when our Golf Day returns next year! Thank you Natta Building Company Ltd for your continued support to help us ensure that no family has to face serious childhood illness alone.
