A Landmark EVent on the Isle of Wight ⚡ Brilliant people in the room, networking with influential business owners who are driving the industry forward, and destination charging clearly on the rise. Hearing first-hand how it’s shaping hospitality experiences was really meaningful – a special thank you to our gold installation partners, MB Electrical EV Ltd, for hosting! Rolec is delighted to be appointed as the exclusive EV charging manufacturer across the whole island, delivering infrastructure that helps residents and visitors travel sustainably. We were chosen for our strong and durable IP-rated units, a wide range of charging speeds from 7.4kW up to 650kW, extended warranty, and a consistent design approach suited to sites with a mix of EV, caravan, and marina settings. Multiple installations are already underway, with many new sites set to roll out over the coming months. Allan delivered an informative talk covering hardware selection, quality, installation, software, maintenance, uptime, and ROI – highlighting how Rolec and our installers are helping organisations  nationwide go greener. Wider conversations covered everything from funding models to future-proofing, highlighting the growing need for reliable and accessible EV charging at scale. Feedback from the event was insightful, and it’s evident what’s possible when partnership and purpose take centre stage. 🤝
