  • The RAF’s Tactical Air Traffic Control (TacATC) have played a vital role in a large-scale training event designed to test operations in austere and contested environments on NATO’s eastern flank. TacATC teams are highly skilled specialists who deploy rapidly to establish air traffic control services in locations where traditional infrastructure is unavailable. During the exercise, they coordinated a range of air operations, including troop transport, resupply missions, and close air support, ensuring the safe and efficient management of airspace. Exercises like Forest Guardian are essential for refining our skills, enhancing interoperability, and maintaining readiness to operate in the most demanding conditions. Proud to see the professionalism and adaptability of our TacATC teams in action! #JEFtogether #AirPower
