She’s been announced as a member of the REF Panel for Economics - the UK’s system for evaluating the impact of research at higher education providers (HEIs). REF plays a vital role in shaping the future of academia and helps allocate around £2 billion per year of public funding for universities’ research. Earlier this year, Denise was also named a Fellow of the Royal Economic Society 👏. RES VACANCY - The Royal Economic Society is currently seeking applications for the position of Editor-in-Chief of The Econometrics Journal. The new Editor-in-Chief will begin the role from May 2026, when the current Editor’s term ends, and it is anticipated they will serve two consecutive 3-year terms.
