About us
Content suitable for investment professionals only. At Royal London Asset Management, we do things a little differently. We take a distinct approach to active management. As an integral part of customer-owned mutual Royal London, we’re free from short-term shareholder demands. Instead, we put our clients at the heart of what we do, using a longer-term perspective to generate investment returns. It’s a different pressure to perform and we thrive on it. As active long-term investors, we create solutions with the right balance of return and risk. Our consistent track record across asset classes speaks for itself. We are independent, responsible investors. Entrusted with other people’s money, we embrace the influence we have as stewards of our clients’ capital, for the mutual benefit of our clients and wider society. We are dedicated to delivering for our clients around the world. Building a better future, together. It’s asset management excellence, with a longer-term perspective. Royal London Asset Management is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Royal London, the UK’s largest mutual life and pensions company. Established in 1988, we are one of the UK’s leading fund management companies with assets under management of £181 billion (as at 30 June 2025, subject to rounding). We are proud to mark the start of Phase 2 at Atlantic Park, a landmark logistics and manufacturing development in Liverpool City Region. This 52-acre site, once home to Rolls Royce Engineering, is being transformed into a future-ready hub, strategically located within the Liverpool Freeport zone and designed to support global supply chains. We were pleased to be joined by key partners and regional leaders whose continued support reflects the ambition behind this project and its importance to the wider Liverpool City Region. From local job creation and apprenticeships to sustainable design and regional investment, this project reflects our purpose at Royal London Asset Management Property: to invest in places that deliver for communities, businesses, and our members. When the full scheme is complete, Atlantic Park is expected to contribute £63 million a year to the local economy and support more than 1,100 jobs.

Many of these developments would pose significant ethical and philosophical questions. But they could also undoubtedly create some potentially exciting investment opportunities.
