From lab chemist to science writer - my six-week internship at Chemistry World, Royal Society of Chemistry, was a great opportunity to unlock new skills for my toolbox. Interviewing world-leading scientists and writing articles on topics ranging from policy and business insights to emerging research, I gained valuable experience in science communication. It’s been inspiring to see how science continues to evolve and connect with society. I’m delighted to see my contributions featured in the October issue of Chemistry World magazine and equally excited for more of my pieces in the November issue. Having had such a good experience, I’m excited for the opportunity to continue contributing even after completing the internship, it’s a pleasure to remain connected with the organisation.
