What happened at the first annual meeting for the Sustainable PLFs 2040 initiative, catalysed by the Royal Society of Chemistry? Find out more from Aurora Antemir, "Systems Convenor" for the initiative, who joined more than 40 people from corporates, start-ups, academia, national institutes and research centres, aiming to transform the future for polymers in liquid formulations...
Why make it simple, when it is complicated? A question that has been preoccupying my thoughts for a while, more precisely since 2017 when we started our work on Polymers in Liquid Formulations (PLFs) and their sustainability. And I found the answer. We don’t need to oversimplify, and instead think in complex systems. Sometimes thinking really big picture, sometimes very granular and sometimes in between. Last week we held the first annual meeting for the Sustainable PLFs 2040 initiative, catalysed by the Royal Society of Chemistry. It was great to hear the conversations from corporates, start-ups, academia, national institutes, research centers, about the challenges and the opportunities around PLFs not as isolated issues, but as interconnected parts of a bigger system. #SustainablePLFs #RSC #Innovation #PLFs2040 Anju Massey Brooker Kate Carlisle Tanya Sheridan Jo Reynolds FRSC Dan Korbel, PhD Andrew Waterworth Find out more below👇
