Backed by the Life Sciences Innovation and Manufacturing Fund these facilities will create jobs and boost the UK’s health resilience 🔬 Greater Manchester, West Midlands, and Glasgow City Region will also receive further backing through the Local Innovation Partnerships Fund to invest in science and tech 📈 This comes ahead of the Chancellor’s Regional Investment Summit which will showcase the breadth and depth of opportunities to invest, expand and create jobs right across our nations and regions. A new mapping tool will help bring fresh food to residents in Liverpool 🥬 It will look at people’s access to healthy food and direct the Queen of Greens Bus to those who need it most. Researchers will then measure how diet and health changes as a result and use a computer model to predict the impacts on people’s health and accessibility.
