Today we announced our FY results for Seraphim Space Investment Trust (SSIT). SSIT reported a 28.9% increase in portfolio value over the past year, driven by growing momentum in the space sector, rising defence investment, and a doubling in valuation from portfolio company ICEYE. The announcement was picked up in several noteworthy publications, including Bloomberg. Will Whitehorn OBE, SSIT Chair, said: “The past year has been one of profound change, both globally and within the space sector. The change in the US presidency has triggered major geopolitical shifts, reverberating through the space industry. 📊 Space Tech by the Numbers — Q3 2025 Hot off the release of our Q3 Seraphim Space Index, the data tells a story of resilience and resurgence across the global SpaceTech ecosystem. 🚀 Here’s a snapshot of what stood out in Q3: 💼 $3.5bn invested – marking the biggest quarter ever for the sector 💰 $10.4bn invested in the past 12 months – a 21% increase YoY 📦 583 deals closed over the same period, with Q3 alone accounting for 160 📉 Median deal size hit $5.8M, while the average reached $30M 🌌 The largest round? $336M raised by Galactic Energy Momentum is back.
