🌍 🇺🇦 Supporting Solar for Resilience in Ukraine At Solar & Storage Live last week, we were proud to host the RePower Ukraine Charitable Foundation on our stand. Their team shared powerful stories about how solar and storage are helping Ukrainian hospitals and schools continue delivering essential services in the face of crisis. The Slobozhanske hospital project was a key focus — a reminder of how renewables can provide life-saving resilience where it’s needed most. A big thank you to our community and members including Photon Energy, Segen, Midsummer, ESS Group and NextEnergy Capital, who are already playing their part by supporting RePower Ukraine with equipment, funding, and awareness. 👉 Learn more about how you can help: https://lnkd.in/df8Hnyxd Together, our sector is proving that solar doesn’t just power homes and businesses, it powers hope. #SolarEnergy #Storage #Resilience #RePowerUkraine
Attending of Solar & Storage Live in Birmingham helped us to spread the word about the help our foundation provides and needs to provide more. Our UK ambassadors, Nick Arnold, Jonathan Bates, and Kirsty Berry, have charmed people with the Foundation’s impactful projects. Our foremost showcase at the exhibition was the Slobozhanske hospital. Read more about the project here: https://lnkd.in/df8Hnyxd "It was great to have an opportunity for face to face conversations at Solar & Storage about fund raising, equipment supply and support for Repower's mission. Always good to be able to show people the amazing life-saving work the Repower team can do with the donations we receive" - said Kirsty Berry We deeply thank Solar Energy UK for hosting us at your stand and for promoting Slobozhanske project around your business community. We thank Photon Energy, Segen, Midsummer, ESS Group and NextEnergy Capital for supporting Slobozhanske project with equipment, running for fundrasing, funding and spreading the information. And last but not least, we would like to personally thank Nick Arnold, Jonathan Bates, Kirsty Berry, and camille dressler for being the ones we relied on in our path to increase the resilience of Ukrainian hospitals and communities this year. We believe that participating in such a significant event has already raised awareness about our future projects, namely PV and storage systems for number of hospitals in Poltava, Kharkiv and Sumy Regions. We’ll keep you updated

🌞 Good news to end the week! Hospitals and schools are cutting their energy bills with clean, homegrown solar power thanks to a £180m investment from Great British Energy. 💡 The first NHS sites and schools to switch are set to save £3.8m over their lifetime, money that can now go into more textbooks, better classrooms, frontline care, and stronger local services. And this is just the start: nearly 400 schools and NHS sites will follow, with up to £400m in lifetime savings. 🌍✨ A bright win for patients, pupils, communities and the planet.
