🎉 Today we’re celebrating Daniel Maynard's 1-year anniversary here at Strictly! We asked him to reflect on their first year. Here’s what he said: What’s been your favourite memory from your first year at Strictly? My favourite memory was the Xmas party, having a right laugh and creating friendships. What have you learned in your role that you didn’t expect? I initially saw recruitment as a structured process: advertising, interviewing, onboarding. What I didn’t expect was how emotional and personal it can be for candidates. I’ve learned how much small details a quick update, a friendly call, a supportive tone can transform a candidate’s experience. What’s one thing you’re most proud of accomplishing this year? I am most proud of securing new clients across the country, especially in tricky places to recruit, such as Exeter, Milton Keynes and Cambridge and ultimately filling role with them all. What are you most excited about for the year ahead? I am most excited about applying all the new skills I have learnt from my Directors over the past year. Especially in terms of Business Development and building strong candidate relationships. If your first year were a movie title, what would it be? The Devil Wears Prada – “High pressure, big learning curve, but I came out sharper and stronger.” Congratulations, Dan.
