Congratulations to UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer on a successful visit to India. 🇬🇧🇮🇳 The India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) is set to unlock a new era of collaboration – creating quality jobs, driving inclusive innovation, and deepening our shared prosperity. The largest ever Prime Ministerial trade delegation marks a defining moment for UK–India relations. We are proud that many members, partners, and associates from the Tech India Advocates (TIA) community were part of the dialogue and events advancing this strategic partnership. For over a decade, TIA has been quietly and proudly championing #Indian #tech #innovation and #ecosystems on the global stage – first as part of the Tech London Advocates India group, and for the past five years as an independent sibling network within the Global Tech Advocates community of 30,000+ tech leaders spanning 40+ countries. 🌏 Through thought leadership, white papers, policy influence, sparking CEO connections, and high-impact events, our growing community of CEOs, investors, and innovators has been working #voluntarily to bring the Indian and UK tech ecosystems closer together. Guided by a distinguished Global Advisory Council of leaders from both nations, TIA remains committed to enabling growth, nurturing collaboration, and delivering real impact for businesses and communities across both economies. This historic visit reaffirms what we’ve always believed – the future of technology and trade is borderless, and the UK–India partnership will be one of its strongest engines. We are excited to continue playing our part – connecting people, ideas, and opportunities that move both nations forward. 💫 #India #UK #Tech #Trade #Innovation #TechIndiaAdvocates #GlobalTechAdvocates Ani Kaprekar, Aftab ‘Af’ Malhotra | Jaya Dhindaw, Dnyanada Deshpande, Prerna W, Pat Saini, Pooja Mehta, Saif Mahmood, Avnish Sabharwal, Oliver Kaye, #NavPMishraMP | Russ Shaw CBE, Tech London Advocates & Global Tech Advocates | 10 Downing Street | British High Commission in India | High Commission of India in London | Department for Business and Trade

The UK’s PM, Sir Keir Starmer, is currently in India, and significant developments are taking shape between the UK and India… 🇬🇧🇮🇳 The India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) is poised to unlock unprecedented opportunities - creating jobs, empowering industries, and driving innovation like never before. This moment speaks of collaboration, technology, sustainability, and a shared vision for the future. While the headlines may celebrate the big names and global giants, let’s not overlook the micro GCCs (Global Capability Centres) that are quietly reshaping India’s trade narrative. These agile, dynamic centres are enabling SMEs to expand globally, build cross-border capabilities, and power the next wave of growth. I recently shared my thoughts in an article published by Tech India Advocates on how micro GCCs are driving the global expansion of SMEs. It’s a must-read if you want to understand where the next big #India #UK opportunity lies… and I’d love to hear your thoughts. https://lnkd.in/gZX-RWe9 InsourceIndia Multi Recruit Shashank Vagale Shree Praveen Jishnu Podwal Ansul Agarwal Sonal Kumari Ani Kaprekar Aftab ‘Af’ Malhotra Russ Shaw CBE Tech London Advocates & Global Tech Advocates Divya Bajaj Sijoy Thomas Department for Business and Trade London & Partners Hemin Bharucha Sura Hussein

Exploring Swarna Andhra aligned with Viksit Bharat, Vision 2047 - insightful and energising. 💫 It was a privilege to attend the Andhra Pradesh - UK Business Forum, hosted by #CII UK at the #IoD London wearing my Tech India Advocates hat. 🇮🇳🇬🇧 Hearing about #AP ambition from Mr. Lokesh Nara (Hon’ble Minister for IT, Electronics & Communications, RTG & HRD) and Mr. Abhishikth Kishore (VC & MD, APIIC Ltd, Industries AP) was a highlight. Both young leaders pitched the state with the energy of a scale-up - bold, clear and hungry. ✊🏻 I was impressed by their focus on frontier technologies like #DeepTech, #AI, #Quantum, #AgriTech, #GreenTech, #DroneCity and more... The Ratan Tata Innovation Hub - Visakhapatnam (RTIH) - and theme “One Family, One Entrepreneur” - captures both spirit and ambition in equal measure. They spoke of multi-billion-dollar investments already attracted, with global players from #LG to #IBM placing their bets on Andhra Pradesh - impressive! For someone passionate about emerging #Tier2 centres in India, hearing #Visakhapatnam positioned as a premier destination was particularly exciting - no wonder it will host the “Partnership Summit 2025.” Launch of the special report “Indian Roots, British Soil” was a timely reminder of how deep and dynamic the India-UK corridor truly is. And, as always, it was good to run into friends across the India-UK ecosystem who continue to make this corridor thrive… Gayatri Panda, Gursheen Kaur Sahani (GKS) , Uday Nagaraju, Kevin McCole, Vijay Goel, Manish Tiwari, Tarun Ghulati , Ash Balakrishnan, Meenu Niranjan, Vineet Johri and more… Congratulations Shehla Hasan, Thanu Kurien FRSA, team CII UK & #AP, High Commission of India in London and everyone involved – a well-delivered full-house forum showcasing the promise of #AndhraPradesh. | Confederation of Indian Industry … Thank you for the invite. 🙏🏻 Looking forward to the shared growth that will flow from such dialogues. PS: My small personal regret - missing post-event dinner while making it to Euston for late train back to #Manchester… Ah well…😎 #India #UK #Polymath #Tech #Creative #ThoughtLeader #Storyteller

Some ideas don’t stay ideas - they grow into powerful movements. Last week was one of those moments… 💫🇮🇳🇬🇧 The Indian Tech Society Awards 2025, supported by Tech India Advocates, a sunny evening to remember... And for me, a moment to wear two hats - as #TIA co-founder and as MC alongside the brilliant Gayatri Panda. Last year, when Gayatri first shared her idea of celebrating “quiet disruptors” with Aftab ‘Af’ Malhotra and me, it struck a chord instantly - and we knew we had to back it wholeheartedly. This wasn’t just about handing out awards - it was about recognising #tech #leaders quietly shaping the India-UK story: putting a spotlight on their work, and making their contributions known to the world. And doing it in a way that builds community - perfectly aligned with #TIA mission to champion #NewIndia #Tech on the global stage, supported by 30,000+ strong Tech London Advocates & Global Tech Advocates network across 40+ countries. How beautifully this idea has grown - from a conversation to a powerful platform for connection, recognition, and collaboration. I see great things ahead. As Russ Shaw CBE reminded us in his remarks, thriving ecosystems aren’t built in silos – they flourish when communities collaborate, support each other, and lift each other up. That’s exactly what makes the #UK #India tech corridor so powerful. And talk about perfect timing - with the recent India-UK trade #CETA #FTA signed, it was fitting to have India’s chief negotiator, Nidhi Mani Tripathi (Minister - Economic at the High Commission of India in London), join this celebration. A heartfelt thank you to Russ Shaw CBE, Suki Fuller, Oliver Kaye and Nidhi Mani Tripathi for presenting the awards - your presence elevated the evening... And Big Thank you to Fluido (an Infosys company), Kristina Monte-D'Cruz, Slava Baranovskiy, Eligent Club for supporting the event. Fantastic teamwork! Thank you also to the many friends - old and new - who who joined us to cheer the change-makers. It truly matters. (Too many to tag but you know who you are). Huge congratulations to all the award winners and those recognised this year. Please do visit their profiles – they’re worth following > Prachetas Bhatnager, Saransh Gulati, Anmol Goel, Ishaan D., Jyoti Dayah, Prateep Aitha, Dr Darshita Singh, FRSPH, Ashraf Nehal, Vishnu Chundi, Dr. Sugandh Khanna, Teijas KY, Mukhil Padmanabhan, Pankhuri Bansal, Saurabh Maheshwari, Sumedh Kulkarni, Nishikant Kothikar, Sukhvinder Singh Nara, Hardik Sabhaya, Shankar Krishna Murthy, Sujathullah Panchi, Satyam R.
