We’re looking for makers and shapers across Wales! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 You’ve seen hackathons before, but this is the Tramshed Tech take... introducing AI Challenges. These are pan-Wales AI Innovation Challenges offering short, high-impact, AI-driven innovation sprints designed to spark the next wave of tech founders and startups in Wales. These challenges consist of three 48-hour innovation sprints that will take place across Wales over five months, supporting 40+ participants: 📍 Cardiff, 28th - 29th Nov 📍 Swansea, 23rd - 24th Jan 📍 Wrexham, 6th - 7th Feb With a final showcase event taking place at Tramshed Tech, Grangetown, Cardiff in early February, where participants will pitch their venture ideas and plans! The session explored how businesses of any size can embed AI practically and ethically, with insights from: 💡 Ammar Akhtar, Founder & CEO of Final Rentals You don’t need to follow every AI trend. Focus on the right tools that solve your problems and deliver real value. 💡 John Glennane, CEO of Capventis Don’t start with the tech, start with the problem. Has technology truly improved business, or is it holding us back? 💡 Jaymie Thomas, Co-founder of AI Wales & Fractional CTO at Protect Commercial Insurance Shared a range of accessible AI tools that can boost efficiency, reminding us that AI can get you 80% of the way there but people bring the final 20% of quality.
