  • The secret to the perfect cup of tea... In a recent Daily Mail feature, our very own Stephen Twining, 10th-generation member of the Twining family, shared his expert guidance for brewing the ultimate cup: “One key ingredient is the tea and the quality of that, the other is the water, that water is going to be the major part.” Stephen always empties his kettle of any previously boiled water and refills it with fresh cold water from the tap — his “magic ingredient.” The fresh water contains dissolved oxygen, which helps extract the tea’s full flavour and aroma. It’s a simple step, but one that makes every cup taste just that little bit better, as the more the water is boiled, the less oxygen it contains, which changes the flavour profile of the tea.   • Earlier this year, we shared how Farmers’ Voice Radio was helping smallholder farmers in Kenya access practical, relevant training on topics like soil health, pest management and climate resilience. In Africa, radio remains one of the most trusted and accessible ways to reach rural communities. Research by BBC Media Action shows that 97% of people have access to a radio at home, with 70% listening daily. In Kenya, more than 30,000 farmers tuned in weekly to learn and share best practices — leading to improved tea yields, stronger climate adaptation and higher incomes. Building on this success, we’ve expanded the programme into Nigeria, supporting hibiscus and ginger farmers, and Sri Lanka, working with smallholder tea farmers, with the aim of reaching thousands more farmers through local-language broadcasts that promote more sustainable farming methods and community development. By meeting farmers where they are, we’re aiming to help to grow more resilient livelihoods — and shape a more sustainable future for tea. #Twinings #Tea #Sustainability

    At this year’s Create & Cultivate event in Savannah, Georgia, Twinings partnered with an inspiring community of women, founders, and creatives — all gathering to share bold ideas and shape the future of business.   As part of the weekend’s “surprise and delight” experience, guests were welcomed with a curated tea ritual featuring Twinings blends for every moment of the day, from an uplifting English Breakfast to a soothing Sleep tea, alongside our new Twinings Refreshers, crafted for instant iced enjoyment.   Inspired by Mary Twining, who led our business in 1762 when few women held positions of power, we’re proud to continue her legacy, supporting women as they lead, innovate and create with intention.   Here’s to meaningful connections, big dreams and a moment to pause along the way.   #Twinings #Tea

  • One year after its launch, Twinings Sparkling Tea was featured in ITV’s This Morning as part of its Food & Drink round-up, “the viral must-try foods the internet can’t get enough of” — with presenters Joel Dommett and Emma Willis having a closer look at Refresh (Juicy Raspberry Lemonade), Defence (Zesty Orange and Passionfruit), and Boost (Zingy Lemon and Ginger).   Twinings Sparkling Tea infuses tea and botanicals with sparkling water and fruit juice and it is fortified with vitamins and minerals.
