  • 85,000 drones delivered to Ukraine in 6 months. The UK isn’t just supporting Ukraine, it’s helping reshape the future of warfare. In just half a year, the UK has delivered over 85,000 military drones to Ukraine, many built by British companies. These drones are enabling precision strikes, frontline logistics and critical reconnaissance, helping Ukraine counter Russia’s escalating drone tactics. Backed by £600 million in UK Government investment, this effort is creating jobs in both countries and accelerating innovation in drone technology. The UK and Ukraine have also signed a first of its kind industrial partnership to mass produce the Octopus interceptor drone, designed to shoot down Russian drones and protect civilians. Thousands are now being produced monthly using battlefield data. The Defence Secretary John Healey is co hosting the Ukraine Defence Contact Group in Brussels today, joined by over 50 nations including the US and NATO leadership, sending a clear message that Putin’s aggression will be met with unity and technological superiority. The UK is also: • Extending the RAF’s contribution to NATO’s Eastern Sentry mission through 2025 • Deploying counter drone experts to Moldova • Co leading the Drone Capability Coalition to deliver 35,000 new interceptor systems to Ukraine This is part of the UK’s record £4.5 billion commitment to Ukraine’s defence in 2025, because our national security starts in Ukraine.
