The old libraries, the accents, the one-year master’s degrees that promised speed and prestige. But in 2025, that dream looks different. With visa rules shifting, living costs rising, and dependent restrictions cutting deep, more families are asking a hard question: “Is it still worth it?” And yet, the pull hasn’t disappeared. It has changed. Because behind every application is not just a career move. It is courage. Validation. Hope. Indian students today are not chasing a fantasy. They are navigating reality, smarter, stronger, and more self-aware than ever. The dream is not dying. It is maturing. #Uninist #StudyInUK #IndianStudents #UKEducation #InternationalStudents #StudentExperience #StudyAbroad #GlobalEducation #EducationInsights Saurabh Arora Mayank Maheshwari Asim Erturk Umang Gandecha Gaurav Arora Muskan Bhuwania Rishabh Mishra Hemanth Ramesh

  • When you move to a new country, finding the right place to stay can be stressful. Rabeya was in that exact spot, unsure where to begin, hoping to find something that truly felt like home. That’s where Muskan Bhuwania from our team stepped in. She listened, understood what Rabeya needed, and made sure every detail was taken care of. Hearing Rabeya say “she really took the time to understand what I was looking for and helped me find the perfect room” means a lot to us. Because it’s not just about finding a room. It’s about easing someone’s journey. Thank you, Rabeya, for trusting Uninist. And cheers to Muskan for making it a smooth experience from start to finish. #StudentAccommodation #Uninist #InternationalStudents #StudentExperience #StudyAbroadLife #Testimonial

  • For many international students, studying abroad takes courage. You leave behind your home, your people, your comfort, all to chase something bigger. Anyone who’s lived it knows it’s not easy. You’re learning to understand visa rules, applying for jobs, trying to settle into a new country, and figuring things out. At Uninist, we see this quite often. The late-night calls, the endless forms, the stress before interviews, and the hope that all the effort will pay off. This piece talks about that journey, i.e. what’s really happening in the UK job market and how students can prepare early, build useful skills, and find the right opportunities. We’re not in the job or recruitment space, but we care deeply about what students go through after they arrive. This piece is our attempt to talk about that reality, what’s really happening in the UK job market and how students can prepare early, build practical skills, and make informed choices. It’s not a report. It’s a real look at what students experience and how small, steady steps can open big doors. If you’re a student trying to build your future here, take a few minutes to read this. It might just help you see the road ahead a little clearer. And if this piece resonates with you, leave a comment or connect with us, we’d love to hear your story.

  • A big thank you to Imran Iqbal, Center Manager at Birmingham School of English, for his kind words 🙌 Partnerships like this are the backbone of what we do. We believe that when students travel abroad, their accommodation should feel just as welcoming as their classroom — safe, secure, and truly like home. That’s why we put so much care into every detail, and why schools like Birmingham School of English go the extra mile too. Together, we create an environment where students can focus on learning, growing, and enjoying their experience to the fullest. If you’re a school still looking to partner with us, reach out today — let’s make your students feel at home- https://lnkd.in/eEf8NtaY #StudentAccommodation #InternationalStudents #SafeStay #StudentExperience #EducationAbroad #GlobalPartnerships #LanguageSchools #StudentHousing #StudyAbroadLife

When it comes to finding a place to live in the UK, international students hear a lot of “truths” that aren’t always true. At Uninist, we’ve seen how these myths can create unnecessary fear — so let’s set the record straight. Myth 1: “All Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) is too expensive.” Fact: While premium PBSA options can be costly, there are a wide range of price points. Many providers now offer shared flats, flexible contracts, and inclusive bills that make budgeting easier. At Uninist, we work directly with schools and housing partners to ensure students get fair, transparent pricing — with no hidden costs. Myth 2: “PBSA isn’t safe compared to private rentals.” Fact: PBSA is actually among the safest housing options for students. With 24/7 security, CCTV, and staff on-site, PBSA prioritises student wellbeing. Through Uninist’s partnerships, we place students in properties that meet strict safety standards and provide extra wellbeing support where needed. Myth 3: “You’ll feel isolated in student accommodation.” Fact: Today’s PBSA is designed for community — with social spaces, events, and support staff to help students settle in. Many students make lifelong friendships here. Uninist actively collaborates with schools to make sure housing isn’t just about a roof, but about belonging and connection. Myth 4: “You’re on your own once you’ve moved in.” Fact: Good student housing providers work closely with universities and agents to support students throughout their stay. From maintenance to wellbeing, support systems are in place. Uninist doesn’t stop at move-in day — we keep listening, checking in, and ensuring the living experience continues to meet expectations. Housing is never just about walls and rent — it’s about comfort, safety, and community. At Uninist, we see it as our responsibility to make sure every student feels at home in the UK. 👉 What about you? What’s the biggest myth you believed before moving (or sending students) to the UK? Share below — your story might help someone else feel reassured. • A few weeks ago, a group of international students sat together after class, talking quietly about the news. Some had seen footage of protests in London. Others had read about stricter visa warnings. The mood in the room wasn’t excitement about the future — it was fear. Fear of whether they would be welcome here. Fear of whether their families would be safe. Fear of whether the place they came to learn and grow might now see them as outsiders. For many young people, coming to the UK is more than studying — it’s leaving behind home, family, and familiarity. When the political conversation turns against migrants, it doesn’t just touch policies — it touches hearts. It shakes confidence. It plants doubt in students who should be thinking about books, not border controls. That’s why schools, communities, and organisations like ours must step up. ✅ Share facts clearly so misinformation doesn’t spread. ✅ Create safe spaces where students feel heard and supported. ✅ Speak out against xenophobia and ensure wellbeing comes first. ✅ Advocate for fair, transparent policies that protect students’ futures. At Uninist, we believe every student deserves to feel safe, valued, and at home — no matter where they come from. 🌍💙 👉 To our peers in education and community support: How are you working to reassure and protect international students during these times? #InternationalStudents #StudentSafety #UKPolitics #EducationAbroad #StudentWellbeing #Inclusion #CommunitySupport #StudentExperience #Uninist

Moving abroad to study is exciting—but let’s be honest, finding the right accommodation can make or break your student experience. Too often, students rush into booking a place only to realise later that it’s overpriced, unsafe, or lacking the support they really need. That’s why we’ve put together a simple 5-step checklist to help you make informed decisions before signing that contract. ✅ Is it safe and secure? ✅ Can you afford it long-term? ✅ Is it close to your uni and essentials? ✅ Does it support your wellbeing? ✅ Are the contracts clear and fair? At Uninist, we’ve seen first-hand how the right accommodation helps students thrive—not just survive. When students feel at home, they don’t just live better, they learn better. 💙 👉 Save this checklist for yourself, share it with a friend who’s booking soon, and if you’re unsure where to start—let’s talk. We’re here to help students find a place that truly feels like home. https://lnkd.in/eWjsSP3p #StudentAccommodation #StudentExperience #InternationalStudents #UKHousing #Uninist #StudentLife

  • For international students, moving to the UK is a leap into the unknown—an exciting journey filled with opportunities, but also a time of uncertainty. Universities and agents alike know that when students arrive, their very first concern is not the classroom—it’s their home. Accommodation isn’t just a logistical detail; it’s a foundation for student wellbeing and success. At Uninist, we recognise the critical role housing plays in shaping the student experience. That’s why we’ve built our partnerships with universities, language schools, and education agents around a simple mission: ensuring students feel safe, comfortable, and supported from the moment they arrive. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 ✔️ 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 & 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 All accommodations undergo thorough checks for safety, security, and quality. Parents and institutions can rest assured knowing their students are living in trusted environments. ✔️ 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 From first-day nerves to culture shock, we see housing as more than a bed—it’s a place of belonging. Our teams go the extra mile to make students feel settled, supported, and connected. ✔️ 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞 With operations across multiple UK cities, we manage the complexity of logistics, move-ins, and student care seamlessly. This allows universities and agents to focus on academic success while we handle housing. ✔️ 𝐃𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 Led by passionate professionals, our team provides round-the-clock support to both students and partners. It’s not just about placement—it’s about ongoing care throughout the student journey. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 Studies consistently show that students who feel safe and “at home” perform better academically and adapt faster socially. For institutions and agents, partnering with Uninist means more than filling beds—it means empowering students to thrive in every aspect of their journey. At Uninist, we believe student success begins with where they live. By working hand-in-hand with universities and education partners, we make sure every student’s first step in the UK is one that leads to comfort, security, and growth. 👉 If you’re a university or education agent looking to strengthen your student support ecosystem, let’s connect. Together, we can ensure every student not only studies in the UK—but truly succeeds. https://lnkd.in/eEf8NtaY #PartneringForSuccess #StudentExperience #InternationalStudents #HigherEducation #StudentHousing #StudentAccommodation #StudentWellbeing #EducationAbroad #UKUniversities #GlobalEducation #Uninist

  • September is always a special month in the UK—new beginnings, fresh academic journeys, and for thousands of international students, the very first step into a brand-new chapter of life. At Uninist, this month has been nothing short of inspiring. So far, we’ve successfully assisted 600+ students across 8+ cities in the UK with their accommodation check-ins. But behind every number, there’s a story. 💙 We’ve welcomed students who were: 💙 Nervous about living thousands of miles away from home. 💙 Struggling with language barriers, worried about how they would settle in. 💙 Feeling a little lost in a new culture, uncertain if they’d truly find a “home” here. And while helping them settle, our own challenge was no small task—coordinating across multiple cities, managing cross-location logistics, and ensuring every single student felt cared for. Thanks to the incredible leadership of Hemanth Ramesh and Rishabh Mishra, and the dedication of our entire team, we were able to turn those first-day nerves into smiles. Students who arrived as strangers left feeling comfortable, supported, and—most importantly—right at home. This is what drives us at Uninist: not just providing accommodation, but creating comfort, belonging, and a strong foundation for every student’s journey in the UK. 👉 Have not booked your stay yet? • Let’s talk facts—and why the 𝐔𝐊’𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐢𝐧 2025 matters more than ever: 𝐀 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐦 The UK student accommodation market is valued at around £8.52 billion in 2025, with growth projected at 5–5.5% annually through 2033—driven by rising student numbers and sustained investor interest. 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐈𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐩 Despite the surge, there’s still a major shortfall. Savills estimates the UK needs over 230,000 additional beds, especially in hotspots like Glasgow, and Manchester. That’s a student-to-bed ratio of 2.7—put another way, nearly three students vying for every bed. 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐈𝐬 𝐏𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧 In 2024 alone, 22 major PBSA (purpose-built student accommodation) deals closed, worth £473 million. Developers are rushing in—from Greystar’s 1,014-bed scheme in Manchester to Empire-size deals in London. 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧 Students are feeling the squeeze: costs have soared by 15% recently, outpacing maintenance loans. The average rent now sits around £563/month, up from £550 in 2024 and £535 in 2023. 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 At the end of March, only 36% of student rooms were booked for the upcoming academic year—a sharp drop from 46.3% in 2024 and over 50% in 2023. This slowdown spans most major university cities. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮? Because a student’s home shapes so much more than their day-to-day—it influences their wellbeing, their ability to study, and their sense of belonging. In a landscape where demand outstrips supply, where homes are unaffordable, choices are limited, and every decision carries weight. At Uninist, we believe that housing should not be an extra stressor—it should be part of the support that lets them focus on learning, growing, becoming. So here’s how we can help: 👉 Work closely with partners (schools, universities, providers) to map real demand vs. supply and anticipate shortages. 👉 Put wellbeing & cost into design: from more shared-spaces that build community, to fair rent structures, to properties that are safe, comfortable, sustainable. 👉 Help students navigate housing options earlier, transparently: what they can expect, what to budget, what to look out for. What do you think is the most pressing challenge in student housing today? Let us know in the comments! 💙 And for further assistance feel free to reach out to us - https://lnkd.in/eWjsSP3p #StudentAccomodation #educationabroad #uninist #globaleducation #trends #uk Saurabh Arora Mayank Maheshwari Gaurav Arora Rishabh Mishra Hemanth Ramesh
