VINCI Facilities Integration Day - done! ✅ After an engaging morning, during which Managing Director Paul Cottam BEng(Hons), CEng, MCIBSE, MEI and Commercial Director Rory Murphy FRICS MSc MCIOB took our new starters through a packed agenda with Q&A, we rounded off the day with a values-led interactive session, run by Ann Pemberton FIoL - with plenty of humour and originality thrown in. It was inspiring to see the values that define our culture brought to life in such a dynamic and inclusive way. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making the afternoon meaningful (and memorable!) "When you are working on your project, it's easy to become a bit siloed - but these events are fantastic as they really open up the business. I have learned so much about our regions, our projects and most importantly - our people." Wayne Dowson AIFireE DipFD, Fire Safety Compliance Manager. A fitting conclusion to a day focused on integration, collaboration and building a strong foundation for the journey ahead - together. Welcome to VINCI Facilities 😊 #IntegrationDay #WelcomeAboard #NewBeginnings #StrongerTogether #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork #facman #FacilitiesManagement #VINCIFacilities #Wellbeing #Values

🚀 We are off! Today is Integration Day at VINCI Facilities! And what a way to welcome our new colleagues. From meeting senior leaders, learning about our mission and values, to diving into the benefits that support our people every step of the way, the session was packed with insights and energy. Everyone had the opportunity to ask questions, visit info stalls, share their perspectives, and create connections — because great work starts with great relationships. As Lidia Krsteva Deputy Design Manager, beautifully put it: “What I love about events like this is the opportunity to connect with people from all corners of the business. "Starting a new role can feel overwhelming — you’re not always sure about how to reach out across the business or where you can add value. But when we come together like this, those barriers start to fall. We build relationships that stretch across teams and regions, and that’s where collaboration really begins.” #Onboarding #TeamCulture #IntegrationDay #NewBeginnings #LifeAtVINCI #together #facman #facilitiesmanagement

🏆 What a win! We’re thrilled to announce that VINCI Facilities Building Solutions has scooped Gold in the Restoration Project of the Year category at the National Building & Construction Awards 2025 — for exceptional work at the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) "Huge congratulations — thoroughly deserved! An excellent result, and a big thank you to the VINCI team for all their hard work throughout the refurbishment project.” Phil Ackers. Head of Building Services, ICE. This £4.2 million refurbishment of the ICE’s Grade II listed London headquarters was a true example of dedication and collaboration. Delivered in just 19 weeks, the project modernised key spaces while preserving the historic character of this 112-year-old building through specialist restoration of rooflights, gold leaf detailing, stonework, and timber panelling together with complete refurbishment to the Telford Theatre. Efficiency, sustainability, and compliance were front and centre — with upgrades to plant, glazing, insulation, and fire-stopping, all procured in line with BREEAM and SKA frameworks. Paul Healy, Operations Director said: “Restoring the ICE headquarters was a complex and rewarding challenge — requiring precision, heritage expertise, and close collaboration with our customer. This award is a testament to the trust, shared vision, and teamwork that shaped every stage of delivery.” #GoingForGold #AwardWinning #CelebratingExcellence #NBCA2025 #RestorationProjectOfTheYear #VINCIFacilities #BuildingSolutions #facman

Charity Challenge 2025 - Supporting The Not Forgotten As part of VINCI Facilities Defence teams’ commitment to adding social value to the military community they work in, each year they challenge colleagues to raise money for charities who have a military connection. One of the charities we have raised funds for this year is The Not Forgotten. In July twenty of our colleagues challenged themselves to walk 10, 25 or 50kms as part of the North Downs Ultra Challenge on what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year! In doing so the team raised £3,150 (plus GiftAid) for our friends at The Not Forgotten. Since its founding in 1920 the charity has provided vital support to veterans and serving personnel, and in that time the charity has assisted close to one million individuals to help battle isolation and loneliness through social activities, challenge holidays and respite opportunities. RICHARD WALKER OBE FInstRE, Chief Executive, The Not Forgotten said: “We’re proud to celebrate the incredible efforts of the VINCI Facilities Defence team, whose participation in the North Downs Ultra Challenge raised over £3,000 for The Not Forgotten - well above their target.” “VINCI’s teams’ commitment to completing this walking challenge, in support of those who have served living with physical and mental health challenges, loneliness and isolation not only generated vital funds, but also helped shine a light on the life-changing work this small tri-service charity delivers across the UK. Every step taken by the team was a step towards helping The Not Forgotten deliver our unique support that restores confidence, lifts spirits, and reconnects those who’ve served with the community around them. “Thank you, VINCI Facilities, for standing with us. Your energy, generosity and partnership will truly make a difference.” Lee Scragg MBA, Region Director, Defence, VINCI Facilities said: “The Not Forgotten has played a vital role in supporting UK veterans for over a century, providing year-round wellbeing services that foster a strong sense of community and belonging among service leavers and their families. “We were proud to support The Not Forgotten through our 2025 charity challenge, where our team persevered through exceptionally hot conditions to raise much-needed funds. We hope our contribution will assist the charity in delivering future events which continue to make a meaningful impact. “As a defence company with 45 veterans employed on the South East FDIS BE contract, we recognise the importance of supporting initiatives that honour and uplift those who have served. This commitment is deeply aligned with our team’s purpose and values.” VINCI Facilities is a proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant and has attained the Gold standard of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme. #VINCIDefence #SocialValue #MilitarySupport #TheNotForgotten #NorthDownsChallenge #Veterans #CharityChallenge #ArmedForcesCovenant

It's always great for members of our Defence team to be able to attend BuildForce Programme events, where those who are just about to leave their roles in our military get the opportunity to discuss, and explore, their career opportunities in the construction and facilities management sectors. With the first-hand knowledge of this process from Martyn Lewis MCMI GCGI and Sarah Turnick from our recruitment partner those attending our stand will have been given valuable insight into their future possibilities. #VINCIDefence #ServiceLeavers
Yesterday we attended a BuildForce Careers Fair, talking to service leavers about opportunities at VINCI Facilities and across the wider VINCI Group. It was a great chance to highlight how their transferable skills can be used across a variety of roles, and to share some of the exciting projects and vacancies we have on offer. It was brilliant to be joined by Martyn Lewis MCMI GCGI, who has been through the transition himself, from Army to VINCI Facilities Operations Manager, and could share first-hand insights 📸 At the VINCI Facilities stand! That’s a wrap on our VINCI Facilities Environmental Days 🌍 Huge thanks to Rory Murphy FRICS MSc MCIOB and Melanie Richardson for hosting our round up webinar this morning, and to Gary Stopford who was on hand to answer any questions. We’re grateful to everyone who got involved over the last few weeks, especially our willing volunteers who made some incredible environment pledge videos. From food and water consumption to sustainable fashion, travel and digital choices - we explored how small changes can contribute to reducing our carbon footprints. With the overriding message “we all have a role to play,” this campaign was all about empowering every individual to do something impactful and take ownership of solutions. “Creating a sustainable future begins with individual action—both at work and at home. Thank you to everyone who brought their ideas, passion, and energy to the table. At VINCI Facilities, we’re driving change together.” – Rory Murphy. #sustainability #environmentmatters #facman #builtenvironment #greenfuture #collaboaration #makeadifference #future #facilitiesmanagement #sustainablefashion #carbonreduction #digitalfootprint

💚 Planting positivity: teamwork places nature at the heart of our office There's a green theme at VINCI Facilities this month as we continue to mark our Environment Days. Back in 2022, the garden of one of our office's was little more than a concrete jungle, fast forward to today, and thanks to the creativity, dedication, and teamwork, it’s now a vibrant, welcoming space that offers a breath of fresh air (even with the M60 humming nearby!). Following a fun and imaginative brainstorming session, the garden now features a charming pond, a bird table to complement the ‘V’ bug hotel. These additions are nestled among a lively array of plants and flowers that truly bring the space to life. With 30 members of office team and visitors enjoying the garden open day, it was a wonderful way to celebrate a blooming success. Region Director Adrian Hanna - BSc (Hons), FRICS said: “Transforming the garden has done more than brighten up our outdoor space—it’s brought our team closer together. From a wellbeing perspective, having a place to step outside, breathe fresh air, and connect with nature is incredibly valuable. I’m proud of the creativity and care that went into making this space something we can all enjoy." We’d like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and creativity: Shaun Catton & Sarah Catton – for crafting the bird table and Vinnie (the scarecrow), and for tirelessly sourcing supplies and lending a hand with general gardening. Kieran Gilbert – a planting and watering powerhouse. Clair Cooper & Simon Barker – for their ongoing support with planting, weeding, organising, and watering. Louise Robinson – for reviving the veg bed and adding a splash of creativity with her beautifully decorated stones. Georgia Lofthouse & Rachel Hammersley – for stepping in to keep everything watered when others couldn’t. And a big thank you to Amey Burnley, Rebecca Savill, Anna Finbow, Natalie Moore, and Jonny Howard for their kind and much-appreciated help. #teamwork #sustainability #greenspace #environmentmatters #facman #mentalhealth #outdoors #together
