💥 I came to speak in an on-stage interview, but left inspired by the voices off it! Standing on that stage last week at the Women Automotive Network Europe Summit was surreal, my first time on a big stage sharing what Gen Z expects from their future employers and reflecting on my mentorship journey. It was an empowering moment, yet I found even deeper inspiration in the incredible sessions that followed: ✨ Isabelle Hahn reminded us that transformation begins with people, not technology. 🌍 Christiane Stein expanded my understanding of the shift toward zero-emission mobility for cars, buses, and trucks. 💭 Romana Prochazkova showed in her Workshop that awareness turns on the light, but change begins when you move. Listening to these remarkable leaders redefining the rules of the automotive world reminded me that diversity isn’t just a value, it’s a driving force for progress. Moments like these reaffirm why I believe so deeply in networking, collaboration, and courage. #WomenAutomotiveNetwork #WomenInAutomotive #Mentorship #Leadership #Diversity #GenZ #Networking #FutureOfWork #Sustainability

  • Stop doubting your impact. We love what Sabine SCHEUNERT shared because she’s right. No one defines your seat at the table. Not the hierarchy. Not the industry. Not the expectations around you. We’ve all questioned if we belong. Worked quietly behind the scenes. Waited for recognition that never came. The moment you back yourself, everything changes. Speak up with conviction. Share the idea others are afraid to voice. Lead with purpose, not permission. Every time a woman in automotive believes in her path, she paves the way for another. That’s how progress accelerates. This isn’t about being louder. It’s about standing steady, even when the road is rough. Courage, curiosity, belief. That’s leadership in motion. Because if you can still see that little smile in the mirror each morning, you’re exactly where you need to be. Execution is everything. Be part of the change. Yesterday, Kia Europe had the incredible opportunity to attend the Women in Automotive Europe Summit — a day filled with inspiring discussions led by successful women from across the automotive industry. From leadership journeys to innovation in mobility, the stories shared were powerful reminders of the impact women continue to make in shaping the future of automotive.    #Kia #MovementThatInspires #EmpowerPeopleToAct #DareToPushBoundaries #Womeninautomotive

  • “𝘞𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯’𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘦. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥, 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯. 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘪𝘴𝘯’𝘵 𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘥 — 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘢 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺.” That message, quoted on stage, echoed throughout our European Summit 2025— a shared commitment and determination that led to this moment. One week ago, 𝟵𝟳𝟳 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 leaders came together — 𝟰𝟳𝟵 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 in Ludwigsburg and 𝟰𝟵𝟴 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 — united by a commitment to shape the future of mobility through courage, collaboration, and conviction. From 𝟯𝟴 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 and 𝟮𝟲𝟴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀, leaders across OEMs, suppliers, technology, consulting, and academia gathered to explore what progress in automotive truly means — and what it takes to sustain it. Across every keynote, workshop, and dialogue, one message was clear: 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 — 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 🌍 Global outlooks revealed how shifting power dynamics and the rise of new players are redefining the competitive landscape. 🤝 Collaboration without borders showed that partnerships — not silos — are now the true engines of progress. 💡 Leadership exchanges from pioneers like Sabine SCHEUNERT, Maren Graef , Emmanuelle Bischoffe and MariaGrazia Davino reminded us that courage, authenticity, and empathy are the cornerstones of modern leadership. 🏁 Sophia Floersch keynote captured the power of resilience — proving that true strength lies not in never falling, but in rising stronger each time you do. 🧭 Industry dialogues from Bosch, Flex, Deloitte, AlixPartners,S&P Global and others challenged us to move from awareness to action. 🌱 Mentorship and Gen Z perspectives highlighted that the next generation isn’t waiting for change — they’re creating it. Every conversation, every connection, and every story shared at the Women Automotive Summit: Europe 2025 proved that when women drive progress, the entire industry accelerates. There is still so much more work to be done — but in this moment, let’s pause to celebrate how far we’ve come, the voices we’ve elevated, and the impact we’re creating together. Because we are, and always will be, #𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

Reflecting on the Women Automotive Network Summit in Stuttgart. 🌟 We’re proud to have been part of such an empowering event that brings together so many voices driving progress across the automotive aftermarket. As our own Katharina Kistler, Head of Communications LKQ DACH, summed it up perfectly: “It's always incredible to see the positive energy that arises when all these women exchange ideas. The industry-specific keynotes and panel discussions were also very enriching.” A huge congratulations to Bosch Mobility on their well-deserved award 👏 we love to see our industry peers recognised for their contributions to advancing women in automotive. Thank you to everyone who made the event so fantastic, and to our team representing #LKQEurope: Marzia Castellani, Federica Bertoldi, Barbara Laguardia, Assoc CIPD, Christin Olejak, Lena Spies, and Katharina Kistler. Here’s to continuing the conversation, championing inclusion, and driving positive change across the industry. 🚗 #WomenAutomotiveNetwork #LKQProud #AutomotiveAftermarket

A Visionary Leadership in Aftermarket 🚗 | Shaping the Future with Networking, Mentoring, Empowering Change, Diversity and Growth for All 🙌🏻 🎤 keynote speaker

✨ 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞 – 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞! Last week, I had the pleasure of being on stage at the Women Automotive Network event, together with Bibian, a bright and inspiring Gen Z student. Our topic: The expectations of Gen Z towards their future employers. Bibian shared something that really resonated with me: “𝑊𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑎𝑛 𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑡. 𝐿𝑒𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑜𝑡𝑝𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑠. 𝐵𝑒 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑜𝑓 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑢𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒.” And I have to agree — the common stereotypes about Gen Z being lazy, unreliable, or self-centered just don’t match what I see. I’m surrounded by 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 who embody exactly what Bibian described. 🌱 Before going on stage, it felt like an 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 — because things that truly matter always move something deep inside me and push me beyond my comfort zone. But I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. It’s one that will stay with me — and as a bonus, I got to share some love for my employer Stabilus along the way. 😉 P.S. 💫 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲: Bibian Okatta will be graduating in 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 — so take your chance and reach out early if you’re looking for a true superstar to join your team! #bettertogether #WomenInAutomotive #GenZ #Leadership #GrowthMindset #FutureOfWork #EmployerBranding #Diversity

✨ Energy. Empowerment. Inspiration. That’s what we’re bringing home from the European Women Automotive Summit 2025 in Stuttgart, Germany — an incredible gathering of women that reminded us how powerful connection, allyship, and shared ambition can be. Over two days of open dialogue and forward-thinking sessions, the event brought together leaders and innovators who are shaping the future of automotive technology and leadership. From stories of resilience to discussions on digital transformation and inclusive leadership, we left energized and motivated to keep driving change. 💡 Our Nextlane LeadHER women leaders, joined by a few of our male allies Cem Yucelten, Khalil Haddad, and Djilali Kali, embodied what progress truly looks like — collaboration, mutual respect, and the shared belief that inclusion fuels innovation. 🙏 A heartfelt thank you to Stephanie May, Gary Sangha, Emma Dunleavy-Harris, Holly Goodberry and the entire Women Automotive Network team for hosting such a powerful and inspiring event, and to Helene Lanssens and our Executive Leadership Team for sponsoring and championing the Nextlane LeadHER initiative.
