In northern Chile, where water scarcity is a daily reality, Wood is exploring how the mining industry can lead the way in sustainable water management. 💧 🔍 In a conceptual study shared by Mining Process Engineers Ariel Queirolo and César Pedrero, our team of experts looked at turning contacted acid water from mining operations into clean, reusable water that can be safely returned to nature. This isn’t just about compliance—it’s about regeneration. By restoring natural flows and reducing freshwater consumption, mining operations can support agriculture, rebuild community trust, and set a global example for responsible growth. 🌎 📖 Read the full article to see how engineering ingenuity at Wood is shaping the future of sustainable mining ➡️ https://lnkd.in/erBp2Dch #MiningChile #SustainableMining
